UnStellar
Hey guys, just starting to get into Morrowind modding after years of wanting to. However, I'm running into a huge problem that's preventing me from really doing... Anything. I open the CS, toggle on the Master files, save a separate plug in file, set it to active, and then pull up an exterior cell like Seyda Neen... And am completely unable to adjust the camera holding shift. Can't zoom in or move the camera to anything but the top down perspective, way zoomed out. Same thing happens in interior cells. I've tried different exterior locations and various interiors, same problem. I've closed and reloaded the program numerous times, deleted and remade the plugin file, and even deleted and reinstalled the CS. The problem persists. I can use other keyboard commands, such as adjusting the lighting, and can move around the render window using the arrow keys, but cannot zoom or adjust any other way. I'm using Steam with the TESC Fixed for Steam version of the CS, and running Windows 8.1. I have scoured the internet for answers. Some people have reported the same problem but also report restarting the program fixes it. Not so for me. I've tried left clicking, right clicking, scrolling the mouse wheel, both by itself and while holding down BOTH shift keys, and I've tried the space bar. I can select objects in the render window so I know it's not frozen, and as previously stated other keyboard shortcuts work. I'm at a loss here, and it's frustrating as this effectively makes the CS useless for me. Help please?
UnStellar
For posterity's sake, I found the answer if anyone else runs into this. Under files, click preferences. My CS for someone had them all set at 0 by default, therefore allowing now movement. I added a new value to all those speeds and bingo, the CS operates as expected now.
