Ithlia Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 @Steve40 I was trying to add a new sound to Skyrim and found that the system is different then adding a sound to Oblivion.... I was lost. I eventually found this thread and thanks to your very clear step by step instructions I got the sound added and it worked on the first try. Many thanks and kodos!
tonycubed2 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Steve, thank you!!!! Been looking for days for how to add sound effects!!! Kudos given. Any other way to endorse you?
kitcat81 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Happy this topic still exists. I could not make it work , got the directory error. It happened that I was trying to use a wrong directory. lol Thank you Steve for this explanation. Found it through google. Very useful. I was adding a new custom sound to FO4, but it seems to work the same way.
Godz4gs Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Cool..cool.. Glad I stumbled across this. Was wondering how to get some sound files to play that are ignored by the in-game engine. Kudos.
