sonogu
Hello guys, There is a shield mod named Lionhearth that i like to use but the shield is too large for my taste. I want to resize it and in nifskope i used transform option to make the mesh smaller but ingame when the shield is on back it looks smaller however when it is eqipted in 1st or 3rd person view it still looks large. How can i resize the 1st and 3rd person equiped view looks? Thanks in advance.
Deleted21550714User
load your mesh. then right click where your see the shield, hit transform and then edit and then adjust scale i learned this when making a follower that i wanted give costume armor and weapons to. i didnt have to do anything with the texture files Edited March 7, 2018 by Guest

It just resized the shield on back view, equiped shield in 1st and 3rd person view stayed large (you can see this in my pictures), I am looking for a way to resize them. Deleted21550714User
that's weird, i went ahead and loaded the nif for the shield that i had altered for my follower mod, and i adjusted the scale to .4 and went into game and saw this
Deleted21550714User
you might have to do a quick save and load after scaling in nifskop

Deleted21550714User
make sure when you adjust scale before exiting that the new scale number has stuck, my last test did not require save and load but it won't hurt, the only other idea i could have is your not saving nif to correct folder, i feel that would be a long shot though. good luck with your shield

Deleted21550714User
I'm guessing you figured out that after scaling the nif file associated for the shield whilst on back, that you also needed to scale the other nif file that is used when you have it equipped? I downloaded your shield mod, there is 2 nif files. Edited March 8, 2018 by Guest
