beardave123
Hello all, I am having trouble with the textures for the penitus oculatus and General tullius armors. The arms and legs show up blue (missing texture) when added with the console. Sometimes it then shows up on the NPCS in question. I thought it may be a mod conflict or corrupted save but I deleted every savegame I had and disabled all my mods (as far as I can tell reverting to a clean slate) and it STILL is happening! What do I have to do to fix this? Do I have to delete my game and then reinstall iyt (I am using the Steam Special Edition). Any help would be appreciated. LeddBate
Disabling a mod does not remove content from your data folder. I think you're right about a possible mod conflict. List your mods (that you were using when the trouble started) and we'll see if something jumps out at any of us.
beardave123
There were a lot of them, but the trouble started when I started using the comprehensive sleeves pack (which I really like) and the sleeved imperials mod. I used sleeved imperials first, then started to play around with other imperial armor mods such as semper fi and perfect legionnaire. I eventually only kept sleeved imperials and comprehensive sleeves, but I suppose the damage had been done at that point. Now that my saves are gone I can try and start fresh, but how do I fully revert everything in my files to its original status? I uninstalled all the mods (there is neither a green check not a red circle next to their name in NMM, the names are light grey), but is there some further step? Thanks in advance, I'm new to Nexus and really green still, but this site is freakin' amazing.
LeddBate
Clean your game cache (through Steam) and re-install your mods. You should be good to go. I advise folks to manually download all mods to their HD and then use NMM (or MO) to install them. This gives you better control when adding mods AND has the bonus that if the mod author ever takes their mod off the Nexus for some reason (sometimes a really weird reason) -you have the mod permanently archived and can still use it.
