Fonger
its a lot like certain phone marketing systems "why in [censored] would I ever deal with you when you have already declared yourself to be outside of the law" yes it is possible for that to be true just by them calling you its the "no call list" and telemarketing calls to numbers on that list are illegal self declaring that these same marketers ignore the law. SubjectProphet
I lied. I do have a FB. But it's like forcing someone to get a FB when the social media has ruined people's lives before, that's completely stupid and needs to stop. If an employer asked me for my FB account details, I'd give him the finger and walk out. If he wants to stalk me, I'll be sure he gets quite the beating. But then again, I get paid for getting shot at and running into crossfire, so I guess if I really needed another job, I'd give him the details..... mattlittlej
snipROTFLMAO you have doubts about employers who ask for this in the first placeWith as much backlash as this story and the subsequent rumors have caused I seriously doubt anyone would do this. When job hunting I was applying for more jobs than I could count and not a single application asked for FB or LinkedIn, nor did anyone in any of the interviews I went to. Sure, this may be happening on a very small level but I'm willing to bet that those who are asking for that personal information will, like I said, not have a large workforce or a job if they keep it up. Not to mention that refusing to hire someone because they refuse to give personal information is on the verge of being illegal: http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-03-25/news/31237742_1_facebook-password-job-seekers-employers and http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-03-25/news/31237742_1_facebook-password-job-seekers-employers
