Jambo11
I already have the Better Settlement Beds mod, and it does work as described, but the problem is the bunkbeds don't allow more than one person to sleep in them. I propose separating the top and bottom halves, making them craftable as separate beds, but making the top bunk snap to the bottom bunk. I believe this would allow for both the top and bottom to be utilized by settlers, instead of a single unit that artificially counts as two beds; currently, they function as only one bed. chucksteel
Probably not what you want to hear but the CC bunk beds in the Decor Pack do count as two beds and NPC’s can use the top bunk.
yakalrad
Try SnapBeds. I have used it before on Xbox and it works as intended. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20697/ Edited March 16, 2018 by yakalrad
jkruse05
Easy Homebuilder has my favorite bed system. It has a few ways to make bunk beds, but also allows you to have people sleeping on the floor or in pretty much any other place you want, like on top of a dresser or something. yakalrad
Yeah, one of the mods I use has an invisible bed marker that you can use on just about anything to turn it into a bed. I have every intention of putting it on a pool table in one of my bars. :P Edited March 16, 2018 by yakalrad
Simpson3k
Does that cause visible glitches with the sleep animation as its set to a specific height based on the item? I mean a sleeping back has a different height than a bed.. but those two use a different animation, no? If thats the case then some random item with a bed marker will cause the settler to vanish in the placeable or levitate above it?
yakalrad
In my experience, yes, there are visual glitches, not with the sleeping animation, just the getting there. There are no animations in the vanilla game for getting into bunk beds which is why you usually see them floating up to the top bunk. Same applies with any marker you place on an item other than a bed. The getting there might look weird but the sleeping animation itself, should be spot on.
