JackHaamilton
Hi to all I'm new here, and new to modeling. I'm trying to get the malebody_1.nif file into blender but the problem that arrises is that only the underwear imports. The rest of the mesh is gone. I'm running Blender 2.6.2, and NifSkope 1.1.0.rc6 with throtlekitty's Xml. I'm 100% expecting this to be a minor problem that my noob-ness is just having me not notice. So yeah, I'd love the help if someone could. Thanks, Jack
heavywaters
Importing Nif files directly into Blender requires version 2.49b or older, there are no import scripts available for newer versions yet. There are a couple of ways to get those meshes into newer versions of Blender:1) Export the mesh directly from Nifskope as an .Obj file then import that into Blender. OR2) Import the Nif into Blender 2.49b and save that as a .blend file, open Blender 2.6.2 and "Append" the mesh from the 2.49 .blend saved file. Ghogiel
Also I think you probably just want to use nifskope RC6 and it's stock nif.xml.
Mordecayy
Hey, I take the liberty to ask a new question :I've download Blender 2.49b and nifskope. I change the "user version", "user version 2" and I delete the "BSLightingShaderProperty" but when I want to open the file with blender, it tells me "unknown file type or error, check the console"... Somebody knows how to solve this problem ?
