JaBaRouke
Is there an application that will convert a nif file to a body slide xml preset file?
Bernt
As far as I know you can do that in Bodyslide. When you build your body you can use the "save as" option and you will get both a .nif file and it will add your preset to the folder as an xml file. You need to choose a new name of course. This is correct. But to get the xml file you need to choose a body type in the menu that pops-up when choosing "save as" option. This should be the same type you used to build the body in BodySlide in the first place, of course. To get the nif file you then need to "build" the body either as a general one or when holding "ctrl" and "build" you generate a nif file that is saved inside the main BodySlide folder and can be used for a mod like "Unique Player" so that you have a body just for your character. JaBaRouke
I guess the answer is no. You can in BodySlide create both a nif and an xml as described above. But to take an existing nif (origin unknown) and create an xml from that nif has not been found.

NifTools is used for that purpose, together with other add-ons.

The only way to open .nif files with bodyslide is in bodyslide studio and sliders doesnt works with only the femalebody_0 and femalebody_1 .nifs.
