tiy991
it seems like there haven't been hardly any activity. Or at least, judging by endorsements. I just got back from Skyrim. Decided to dust off my trusty hunting rifle and blow some brains out. Then suddenly, it's like everyone packed up and left. What happened? Everyone go to Skyrim? amullinix
I think part of it has to deal with the heavy modders leaving the big mods behind (case in point: Project Nevada is no longer being worked on); also doesnt help with the game itself is no longer getting any updates or DLC from Obsidian. And yeah... Skyrim has been sucking up a lot of peoples time.
tiger8u2
Well......I played Skyrim....modded it also. But something made me come back to New Vegas. FNV Sexual Innuendo isn't dead per se, but no new animations have been added for awhile. I've made several new mods using the animations that exist. Check them out when you have a chance. TheUnmoddedMan
Check out the image section. Lots of people still contributing, so a lot are still playing FNV, just not a lot of modding going on at the moment.
Nihilisaurus
Weijisen is still working on things, requiem is still on track, camon is putting out weapons at a healthy rate and millenia is still doing retextures. Project brazil lives and so does boulder dome. The people who always move on to the next game have, and a lot of mods have been completed, what we're left with is the big professional projects you have to wait for, and a smaller trickle of standalone content. Get used to this, same thing happened with FO3 and (from what i can see) oblivion.
chucksteel
NVInteriors is very much alive! I've only temporarily put it on hold to help out with RFCW.
Falconian
If you look at the amount of mods that are still updated and the new files popping out you'll realize NV is far from dead.Try checking the "new recently" section next time. Then again, it's pretty normal for people to move to a new game, play it to death and then go back to the others.I ended Skyrim, modded it to death, got bored of the whole, came back to NV.Once I get bored of NV I'll play FO3. Then maybe Oblivion. Then Skyrim again. It's a loop lol.Fallout 3, NV, Dragon Age etc are not just games that will be forgotten, they are masterpieces just like Morrowind and Fallout 2, as outdated as they will get there will always be people playing them. Sure Skyrim has prettier graphics and is more optimized than Oblivion/FO3/NV etc but it lacks a tonload of things those games - and no other games - have. scottmack
Caesars New Regime is still going too. I've been helping the mod author out and a new update should be ready fairly soon.
