  1. If anyone has fallen for this by downloading from the outside source, then they shouldn't be allowed to use the interwebs... That's such a duuurrrrr obvious move. But yeah, obviously personal information has been gleaned so bad news...
  2. I often view the nexus website from my mobile when out and about, planning which mods I would like to install when I get home. The functionality of the nexus sites is difficult to navigate, with the sub menus that require me to hover my cursor over to view them. I would love to see a mobile version of the website that allows ease of browsing from my smartphone. Also, how about having your developers look at making an app for NMM so that I could queue downloads from my smartphone and see them brought to NMM on my pc when it is turned on? Slightly set apart, but I use an app which communicates with an account on my pc, so that I can write a text message on my computer, which is then sent via my mobile phone. The intercommunication is possible and would see great benefit to those who use NMM.
  3. What of those who have bought lifetime premium membership but wish to donate more to the cause. You should think about adding the option of donation for those who have premium lifetime membership.
  4. I have a bitter taste in my mouth, but that's because I just ate a grapefruit. Apparently they boost your metabolism. I thought drizzling honey on top of it would sweeten the taste but alas, I was mistaken. Anyway, as my focus returns, I wholly understand and agree with your rationalisation of ad usage. I still find them to be incredibly annoying and often misplaced. I use the nexus sites perhaps more often than I do facebook and I am truly grateful for the service they provide. I wouldn't give £1 to a homeless person, because they do not give anything to me, not even the gift of charity... But I am certainly willing to give £1 to the nexus sites to ensure that the service which I receive, as well as the endless hours of enjoyment which I have received, still continue. Anyone who thinks they don't owe anything to this site should step back and take a look at what their gaming experiences would be without it and then consider the fact that the upkeep of such a service is vast.
  5. Without meaning to be patriotic, I would love to see Fallout: London. That would be a great setting, travelling through the underground, venturing into massive apartment blocks filled with raiders... They could even have a Madame Tussauds and show famous waxwork statues of famous celebrities... Also, I'd love to see the London eye rusted in a heap, half hanging into the Thames... Oooh the possibilities... Like this is ever going to happen though :(
  6. Project Nevada or FOOK has the option to change the level cap. Open up their scripts and cut/paste what you need
  7. An alternative to FNVedit its wrye flash. My preference.
  8. I may have already said this but, Fallout Forever!
  9. I'm another player who isn't keen on power armour. Mostly, I'll just wear clothes (which is costing me a fortune in stimpaks). Strange things I do... Well, I always seem to go for a female character and spend AGES trying to make her look "right". I only collect items which are of value or stackable, never miss an opportunity to collect a pack of smokes :) Every time I walk past a pool table, I grab the cue (z key) and try and pocket a few balls, try being the key word in that sentence. I always travel with Willow and let loose a few rounds on her when she starts to sing - she's an awful singer... I hate the powder gangers and endeavour to kill each and every single one of them (though I show the powders in Nipton a slight amount of mercy by shooting them in the head when they are being crucified). The lottery winner always takes a head-shot, and so does the lucky runner up! Even though NPC's don't react to finding dead bodies I always seem to move them out of sight, hide them in the grass, throw them over a cliff, that sort of thing. I like staging tea parties with the dead as well, after I go into a building and slaughter everybody inside, I'll put their bodies in funny positions, around the table or something silly like that, after all, it get's pretty lonely in the wasteland and most of the people there want me dead, there's no harm in a little game of tea party, RIGHT? If anybody speaks to me out of turn in the wasteland, they are as good as dead, it might be a harsh land, but there's no reason people can't be polite is there? Fun times :D
  10. My fighting style is sniper first, shotgun second, pistol next... Though with the rarity of ammo in my game it's often a case of do what you gotta do! If I do happen to get caught in closed quarters and my shotty is out of rounds, I'll normally have a 9mm Grease gun or a carbine handy :D
  11. I had trouble getting the standalone to work with NV. My advice us to get the python source files and use version.
  12. I'm all for total anarchy, with civilisation and total control over new Vegas, eventually there would be no need for me! Also, I don't really see eye to eye with any of the factions... BOS do have a nostalgic place in my heart though...
  13. I didn't mean it as a joke! I actually saw the horse thief get shot in the knee with an arrow when he was fleeing the guards of the empire! I was merely stating fact!
  14. I know people never comment on things that make them happy, so I will begin by saying this, the Nexus sites are brilliant, intuitive, easy to use and pleasurable to browse. That said, however, there is one thing that is niggling away at me every time it happens. I sign in to the nexus site and see a really cool mod pop up in the "Hot Files" section. With my curiosity escalating, I hover my mouse over the mod's cover image and begin reading, only to have my reading interrupted after about 3 seconds when the autoscroll decides to show another mod in the hot files section which I downloaded 2 days ago. My suggestion is this - When I am hovering my mouse over a particular mod, the autoscroll feature should be disabled, so I can read the whole of the intro uninterrupted. Having to move my mouse away from the image, then back to it and find where I had read up to is costing me valuable seconds of my life! Considering the amount of times I log into the Nexus sites and check out the mods in the hot files section, these seconds are slowly adding up! Eventually, I predict I will have lost about 3/4 of a year of my life because of this little annoyance! Please, save me these valuable minutes of my life by fixing this issue! That is all, Thank you
  15. I just noticed on my latest New Game, that the horse thief from Rorikstead took an arrow to his knee!
  16. Personally, I sided with the Imperials. My reasons are as follows: The Stormcloaks are racist bigots who believe that Skyrim is for Nords, the "true sons and daughters of Skyrim". I hate that they have no respect for any of the other races of Skyrim and the way that they treat anybody who isn't a Nord (I think of the Gray Quarter here and those 2 assholes pestering the elven lady). From what I have learned, Skyrim was inhabited by the Forsworn even before the Nords came to be in Skyrim, so how can they profess to be the sons and daughters of a stolen land!? Ulfric challenging the High King of Skyrim may have been legal and honourable, but using the Thu'um to disarm the High King and kill him seems to sway the battle... What started as a fair fight descended into a one sided murder. Ulfric obviously had neither the courage, nor the means to defeat Torygg in a fair fight, so how can he pronounce himself the true high king!? He also fled the scene after he killed the High King, rather than claiming his throne... Fleeing the scene in my eyes is a sign of guilt, why should he feel guilty about defeating an opponent in a fair fight? Ulfric has come across as a power hungry barbarian throughout my experience with him, leading Skyrim when he has only thoughts of himself, in such a troubled time when the Thalmor are a mighty and deadly threat, would lead to only chaos and the destruction of any non elven race. I know the Imperials aren't perfect, but upholding a peace treaty with the Thalmor is a temporary measure in order to bring a wealth of strength and numbers to the Imperial forces. The banning of the worship of Talos may be an indignity to the memory of Tiber Septim, but as a temporary measure it allows time to regenerate and to invigorate the numbers within the Imperial forces and to preserve the life of citizens of the Empire and Skyrim alike. General Tullius even hinted to me after the death of Ulfric, that the peace treaty with the Thalmor may not be as strong as is publicly apparent! I'd like to mention also that the banning of the worship of Talos isn't even upheld in the cities of Skyrim - there is a priest shouting about Talos all the time in the city Whiterun. Although the Imperials tried to cut my head off before the attack at Helgen, I am forgiving... I have worked so hard to ensure the survival of the Imperial army that they have made me a legate - Although this title is not recognised across much of Skyrim. Anybody who stands before me and
  17. Hey dude. I know how pissed you must feel at this, but the only way to do it is to start from the top, work your way all the way to the bottom and then start again. The more you do this the closer the values will be to those that you desire.
  18. Oh I must have missed that FOMOD feature. If the program could check, and then the user could say yes or no, it would be a lot easier when there are many mods installed!
  19. I have a fair few mods installed and keeping them updated is a hell of a task. Is there anybody on the nexus with the knowledge to create a program that auto checks for updates? That's something I'd be willing to give a donation for and I'm sure many others would. Peace and love!
  20. I agree whole heartedly. I've probably passed up so many great mods because there is a loads of changelog info at the top of the page. What's the point in telling what you changed since your last version if I don't know what the mod even does!?
  21. Thanks for your reply. I've tried using Facegen to Oblivion converter and it simply fails to import the file in to oblivion, though it says it has done!
  22. If anyone has the time or knowledge, i'm very interested in seeing a mod that inhibits slider movement in face generation. When I change one slider, it moves the others along with it, this makes it difficult to stick to the values given in Facegen 3.1. Thanks for reading and responding!
  23. I've had no problems saving in the Great Gate quest. But disabling saving would be futile. Regular saving actually improves the performance of Oblivion, which for me crashes extremely often. Try rolling back a few saves before and contuing from there, see if you can save...
