Stefijn
A few months ago I started modding Skyrim SE, but I was not happy with the result. So I decided some 4-5 weeks ago to go back to Skyrim LE, which I build up from scratch using MO, with all newly downloaded mods. My PC was giving me some trouble though, so finally I decided to reinstall my computer completely 2 weeks ago. So, last week I completely re-installed Skyrim LE (again) using Mod Organiser to install my favorite mods. I used a backup folder of the MO-mods directory to quickly get my MO complete again, and after rigorous testing I started a playthrough which I have played for some 10 hours now to level 10 So, my computer/install is clean and fresh, there are no old Skyrim/mod files on my computer. There is even almost no software on my computer but Skyrim Skyrim is installed on my G-drive (steam), as is Mod Organiser (G:\ModOrganiser). There's nothing else on this drive.I'm using LOOT to set loadorder, I'm using Realvision ENB and I have SKSE installed in the gamefolder. Yesterday evening my game was running fine and after playing a few hours I saved and quit. This afternoon I started Skyrim and loaded my savegame, and all of a sudden I'm getting strange warnings ingame about mod-versions that are completly false (since I'm using different versions) My modlist: https://pastebin.com/mtj8Em0W The errors (in this order): The last errors keeps repeating. The strange thing is that I as far as I remember did nothing with my computer between quiting Skyrim last night and starting it this afternoon, except: I used Cobian Backup to backup my G:\Games drive. I started this backup last night with the option to turn off my computer after finishing (which it did)Since my computer was still "fresh" I had to setup the backup task first. What could a backup have done to my drive? The other strange thing is that the errors are wrong with the versions they report: - I'm using DynDoLOD 2.35...not below 2.30- SKSE is properly installed (all files + data\scripts in Skyrim gamefolder)- I'm using Frostfall 3.4, not 2.6 or below...- I have wearable lanterns in the game, not sure by which mod they came so I cannot check the version, but I'm NOT using the 'Wearable Lanterns' mod (nexus-ID 17416) Again, I had no problems playing the game for hours last week. So far I've tried: - MO does not show any error- I checked the MO mods directory for filechanges: the DynDOLOD package is the newest file (7 days old now), no other file has been changed since then- re-LOOT to reset loadorder, no effect- used Save Cleaner v2.06 to check the savegames: not a single error found- start a new savegame: same problem- coc whiterun: same problem- re-install SKSE, no effect- reinstalled DynDOLOD, Frostfall, Campfire from the downloaded modfiles: no effect Anybody that has a clue how to fix this? Since I cannot start a new game or "coc whiterun" it is not savegame related. It cannot be the loadorder (generally speaking), since I use default LOOT order and the game was running fine for at least a week up untill I switched off my computer last night. If needed I don't have a huge problem with reinstalling everything again, however I would very very much like to be able to start my savegame again (since I'm kinda done with starting...) Deleted21550714User
Did you get an update on software or a steam update. The errors look like there app/data related. Something like user/appdata/Skyrim. Wouldn't hurt to purge temp folder at the least. Edited March 30, 2018 by Guest
