Grestorn
With the new Skyrim VR, I decided to give Vortex a chance to prove itself. Since there's no Skyrim VR plugin right now, I just used Junctions from "Sykrim Special Edition" to "Skyrim VR" (same for Binaries, My Games and AppData), which works like a charm. I'm actually very impressed, I installed around 40 mods yesterday with various dependencies and overwrites and I couldn't find a single serious problem. I also like Vortex' style and usability. The only gripe I've got is that there's no good overview, which mod is overrwriting which other mod's files. I understand the usage of the overwrite rules, but it can get quite complex and difficult to track easily. One reason is that if you set a rule in Mod A to load after Mod B, you cannot see that order when looking in the rules for Mod B (there's only a mark telling you that there IS a rule). If you have created a circular mod overwrite, Vortex will tell you that, but it's not easy to actually see which rule you have to change to fix that - that's especially difficult if the circle involves three or more mods.. In ModOrganizer there used to be an overview, which file is actually provided by which mod and which other mods are overwritten etc. I realize that Vortex is still Alpha and MO was so much more developed and refined than Vortex at the moment. Also, Vortex targets to be more user friendly and less complicated. Still, for advanced modders, this information was invaluable, and I hope that these functions will get implemented at some point. Some questions:I guess there'll be an Skyrim VR plugin soon. That gives me the question: Is it possible to share mods and profiles over different but similar games like Skyrim SE and Skyrim VR? Or do I have to define everything from scratch when the official Skyrim VR support is implemented? The sorting of esp and esm files... I realize that you can set priorities and rules inside of Vortex (even though the priority thing didn't seem to work as expected for me, but that just might be a problem on my part). Will Vortex ever use or be able to use a third party tool like LOOT? Or will Vortex be able to use the huge amount of predefined rules made for LOOT? Or are you going to do the sorting all from scratch? Actually I found that Vortex did a very reasonable job of sorting the mods. Did you already import a well defined database for that? Thanks again and be sure that I'd happily support your development with reports, suggestions and money.

They read the same files so user rules in one are seen in the other.
