DaredBlack
Is realy necessary to have the script extender , i mean he has bigger compatibility than the normal script of the game ? (if yes what mods can affect that ? )
WastelandAssassin
It's not about compatibilitysome mods utilize scripts that use functions that aren't available in the original engine . these functions are added by the script extenderso is it necessary? no it's not . however , if you want to use any mod that requires it , you will need to have it to add to this , having the script extender doesn't have any negative effect on the gameso it can only help if you use mods that require it , but it won't hurt if you don't use any such mods the only issue with the script extenders (and this is just an issue for FO4 and SSE) is the fact that Bethesda seems to still release updates to these games from time to time , and these updates seem to break the script extenderso if the game got an update , it will take a bit of time for the team to update the script extender for the new version (and until it's done , you won't be able to launch the game with the script extender , unless you prevent the game from updating anyway)so all in all , there is no real reason not to use it , unless you really don't wish to use any mod that requires it (in which case know that you are missing some of the most incredible mods for the game)
DaredBlack
This damn Bethesda....i think they need to give Skirym in the hands of modders community . Maybe better creativity will revitalize Elder Scroll V
WastelandAssassin
Skyrim is in the hand of the communityI think most of those updates are related to the Creation Club (and we each have our own opinion on this subject , which has been discussed in detail since it's announcement) I'm not so sure how much you can revitalize the gameI mean , it's been years since the original release , it's been ported to any console under the sun , and there is a limit to how much modders can polish this game (after all , there is a certain core that you almost can't touch , and that core is usually the issue that makes people drop the game) honestly , the game may have reached it's final stretch , these may be the last legs it could stand onor maybe the community will keep it alive for years to comeonly time will tellwhatever the case , if you enjoy the game , do enjoy it as much as you can
Tanooki1432
Is there a way to roll back Skyrim's version? Or do I just need to be patient and wait for the SKSE folks to drop an update?
