2 small quests

1.)Im doing a quest for the Telvanni leader "Master Neloth".

Hes telling me to go and recover a robe, called "Drake's Pride" from a battlemage which is also in house telvanni.

The problem lies that the the battlemage "Sinise Thindo" is wearing this robe, and unwilling to sell or release the robe.

Attacking doesnt work, or I will get expelled and killed instantly.

 

So how am I supposed to get the robe off of her?

 

2.)In the same Telvanni village, there is a ghost haunting the "refuge" house, killing the ghost doesnt work, it reappears after you leave.

The owner tells you you need to speak with one of the "mouths" so he can give you the solution.

The problem is, none of the mouths tell anything about it, and I cant bring it up either, so im stuck.

So how am I supposed to get the robe off of her?

Taunting. it's veeery useful when you don't want to be expelled. Use an alteration of taunting and bribing until she attacks you, kill her and take the robe back to Neloth.

Talk to Mage-Mistress Arara Uvulas. She is Master Neloth's Mouth. Speak with her about "Conjuration Expert" to learn that Uleni Heleran in the Mage's Guild in Wolverine Hall teaches Conjuration. Speak with her and she gives you a hilarious note to give to Angaredhel. You can give it to him and recieve a Thief, Mage, or Fighter ring. You can receive an additional Reputation bump if you tell who was conjuring the ghost, along with the ring.

 

Giving or not giving the note has no effect on reward; it all depends on whether you tell him the name or not.

As Telvanni you should be getting used to magic. The aforementioned Uleni Heleran sells a Frenzy Humanoid spell. It's not very effective but she is a spellmaker too. Get her to make you a frenzy spell 100 to 100 (no area or you can't target it specifically). If you cast this successfully on anyone they will attack you and you can dispose of them without getting a bounty or thrown out of a faction. It is very useful in other quests too. Those nearby will not get involved.

As an alternative, if you attack and kill her to get the robe without getting killed yourself, I believe you can just go see any of the Televanni mouths to be re-admitted to the house wihtout any penalty. I got expelled with one of my characters for a reason that I don't remember now, but found that the Televani are quite forgiving. Not a big surprise given the house policy is that is you take something fomr anotehr memeber and survive, then you deserve to have it.
