Cipherthe3vil
That if you shoot someone just right in the knee, you can instantly slay them?I don't know if this has already been brought up or not, I wouldn't know because "arrow to the knee" probably comes up a lot in search results. Maybe its a glitch, maybe I'm crazy. Just stating an observation.
vertex23
Then...how are the guards alive?
Vooloc
if this were true, Skyrim would have half the population that it does! haha
thompsonar
Never noticed this at all. Do you have mods? I've shot enemies / been shot in the knee many times and haven't noticed this. Will look in to it next time I play. If you have mods I wonder if it's one of those, or just coincidence?

I have to hit the knees just right, and I don't think it works on all races.I'm still exploring it, but I need to be really dead-on. I'd say its harder then getting a Nut Shot in Combat Arms. RedRavyn
This is very odd, since Skyrim doesn't have a hit-location feature. All the game engine knows is that an attack contacted with the actor's hitbox. Are you sure you aren't just getting critical hits that result in one-shot kills?
