Recommended Posts

I made my mod but i cant add it to this

1location

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Fallout 3\Data\Fallout - Textures textures\textures\armor\headgear

2 location

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Fallout 3\Data\Fallout - Textures\textures\textures\interface\icons\pipboyimages\apparel

then go in G.E.C.K find my mod (Manhunt mask) edit hockey mask an add my custom texture but

I get a invalid dic (location) on the GECK

what did i do wrong?

so how do i import my custom texture at that location then go to the geck an attact it to my mod? so it works

Don't have your game installed in "Program Files".

The Windows User Account Control prevents any changes being made to any files installed there.

There are two solutions to this. Turn off the UAC (not recommended) or install the game in another location (recommended).

Did you copy those file paths directly from your explorer window?

It looks like you're trying to use a custom path to your texture ... the GECK only recognizes the default base paths to assets.

... (install directory) \ Data \ Textures \ (your mod-texture folder)

... (install directory) \ Data \ Meshes \ (your mod-mesh-folder)

.. which in your case should probably look something like this ..

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Fallout 3\Data\textures\armor\headgear\(your custom folder)

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Fallout 3\Data\textures\interface\icons\pipboyimages\apparel\(your custom folder)
