TheBestIdiot122
Finally, with the chaos over, Norgold could assess the situation. It seemed a Nymph and a Dryad had stumbled into the camp, the new dwarf seemed somewhat crazy, and had a speech impediment of some sort, and he handed everyone a mysterious glass of juice for all he knew was poison. He heard the Dryad introduce themselves, "I'm Norgold, pleasure to meet the three of you." He said, smiling. However, after watching Rhaine drink her glass, he shrugged and drank his. The taste was awful but the after taste was pretty good. The Nymph and the Dryad were a funny pair, he watched the Dryad look at the spoons that Nawen and Byron were using. He laughed and leaned against the tree again. He hasn't slept in almost over two days, however, he was just relaxing this time.
tokyobiohazard
Ianthe smiled at Norgold and tucked her hair behind her ears, "Pleasure to meet you! And sorry I tripped over you. I would say it won't happen again, but with me..." She paused and looked up at the sky for a moment with an Ooh, then looked back down at the shield dwarf, "Well, I tripped just putting my pants on this morning." She gave a small chuckle. Naktis
"We're going to the Underdark because that's where the undead are coming from and we can't let them roam freely and attack people." Nawen said as she watched the treeline. It was dark but she had no trouble seeing in the dark. After what happened earlier she wanted to remain vigilant so that no one would launch another surprise attack on them. She heard what the bandit said and frowned slightly. "How in the Nine Hells could some necromancer know that we are coming to deal with the undead?" Nawen asked and glanced at the group in the camp. TheBestIdiot122
"She tripped on me?..." Norgold thought, as he adverted from his thoughts and looked at the Nymph, "It's quite alright, I don't hold grudges like most people do." Norgold said, smiling back. He looked back at Nawen, "Necromancers can look into peoples minds, even I can't stop them from entering. That's what the dreams must have been about." Norgold said, as he smelled the food being cooked.
AurianaValoria1
"Then Kelemvor has steered us correctly," Rhaine said with a sigh, disposing of the bandit's corpse in a similar manner to the others, only she used a jet of flame rather than an area effect. "What puzzles me," she continued, after placing wyrmsage on the final bandit's ashes, "is that I saw the undead rising through a meadow. Which means they're in the flat-lands, not the mountains. So, we may be wandering in the Underdark for some time to get to where they are...or where their source is."
BaldurAnthology
"Ah may have an issue with goin to the underdark, but ah hate the undead more. Ah can show ye an entrance close to here. It's only about a few leagues to the west, about an 'hour' as a mage ah travelled with would have put it." Byron turned his attention to the cooking. "Ah! It's ready!" He starts pulling out cutlery and wooden bowls from his pack. He dishes the food into the bowls, adds a sprig of parsley on top for garnish, and offers the bowls around, with a spoon stuck in every dish. He then goes into a pouch hanging from the side of the pack, and pulls out a loaf of bread, slightly stale, but still fresh enough. he breaks it into equal parts, and hands that with the stew. "Eat up! And in the mornin, ah can show ye the entrance, and Ah'll even help ye find these buggers, if yeh'll have me. Ah only hate one thing, the other things ah doesn't trust, or just don' like. Ah hate necromancers. Ah distrust Drow, although that's just cause usually they try tae capture me, and ah dinnae like a lot of things." tokyobiohazard
Ianthe began to sip at her vegetable stew, and found the flavor to be quite lovely. It had a neutral sort of flavor from the herbs, and she could clearly taste all of the vegetables in each bite. Before she knew it, she was finished. She looked around, "Oh! It seems I've finished faster than everyone. How... unladylike of me..." She sat cross-legged on the ground for a few minutes, before growing restless and weaving in and out of the treeline, dancing and singing, being sure it wasn't a siren song like last time. Hazel held her spoon in front of her face, turning it over and over in her hand. She dipped it in her stew and let out a surprised gasp when it held in the broth. She then shoved the spoonful of broth into her mouth and pulled the spoon out, "It has many functions..." She heard the others begin to speak of necromancers, and dropped the spoon into the bowl. "I do not like necromancy. You have my help in your fight, and Ianthe's as well. I know she'd feel this was more important at the moment than finding her father." BaldurAnthology
Byron smiles as he gazes at Ianthe and Hazel, and glances at Rhaine and Nawen. "It seems tae be up to yeh, what happens noo." he says, and starts eating his food. He finds Hazel's fascination with spoons adorable and decides to carve her one of her own. Naktis
Nawen ate the food quickly. She used to race with her half brother Khalin which is going to finish their supper first and by racing the dwarf she learned how to eat fast. "We could really use the help." Nawen said and glanced at Rhaine. The Doomguide was their leader in this journey so it seemed like it was up to her to decide...
AurianaValoria1
Rhaine found the stew to be quite delicious, and it reminded her of the fare her foster father used to bring home... She, too finished her bowl rather quickly, "If you can show us this entrance, it would be greatly appreciated, Byron. And anyone else who wishes to aid us in this quest are welcome."
