tokyobiohazard
Hazel awoke upon hearing the loud banging, and jumped to her feet, forming an orb of white energy between her hands, chest heaving and eyes wide. When she saw Byron standing there, the handle of his hammer on a cooking pot, she let the magic fade away and sighed in relief. She shook Ianthe, who seemed to sleep so heavily that it was nearly impossible to wake her with sound alone. The nymph stirred slightly and rolled over, letting out a soft moan. After being shaken again, she rolled onto her back and looked up at the sky, taking in a deep breath. After a few minutes, she sat up and belted on her scimitars, rubbing her eyes. She slid the ring on the middle finger of her left hand and admired the glyph on it, "How lovely..." Hazel smiled at the girl, then looked over for her own ring. There was a lovely, ornate spoon next to it, and she looked back at Byron, beaming with unsaid thanks. She placed it in the small bag on Ianthe's hip and slid her own ring on the first finger of her right hand.
TheBestIdiot122
Norgold continued to read through the night, the book was about a younger priest, and his adventures across the Realm, and how he entered multiple dimensions from the deity's themselves. He has read the book over 100 times, and it was quite worn, but he didn't care. He liked the book a lot, and most of his inspiration for adventure came from this book. Norgold looked at Byron ring, it looked quite fancy. "Thanks," he said, as he slipped the ring on and continued to read. As dawn broke, he finished his book. It was quite peaceful until Byron pounded his pan, he sighed as he watched everyone get up. At first he realized that he didn't even sleep the whole night, and wasn't really tired. He just shrugged and got up. He slipped his shield on and waited for everyone to be ready to leave.
AurianaValoria1
Rhaine woke with a start, hand going to the hilt of her sword before she realized it was Byron making all the racket, "Gods blood, dwarf! Give someone a heart seizure why don't you!" She put on the psionic ward, tucking it under her breastplate along with her holy symbol, "But thank you for this. Mind flayers aren't the only psionicists we should be wary of in the Underdark." Rhaine rose and began re-tacking Angel, "We should head to Leilon first and find a place to stable these horses. We can also stock up on supplies there. Afterwards, we can set out on foot to find the cave. Let's clear the camp and get going." BaldurAnthology
"The green Giant inn is in the same direction as the entrance. Ah can take yeh there, and yeh can stable the horses. If you need a guide there, Ah,'ll show yeh. This way." Byron wandered to the western edge of camp. "Ah'm packed. Yeh ready?"
Naktis
Nawen packed her stuff quite quickly and walked up to Valiance. "Vendui ussta abbil." She spoke gently to the horse as she stroked the horse's mane to which the horse responded by licking her hand. "We could really use a guide but please try to be more silent." She said to Byron. "We do have a small problem..." The drow said after a moment of silent. "We have only three horses and now there's six of us." After her pleasant nap she felt refreshed and wasn't tired at all so she was more than willing to ride with someone else or start scouting the area ahead of them and let two people ride Valiance. "I can start scouting the road and meet you all in Leilon or in the Green Giant inn and leave Valiance here." She then glanced at Hazel and Ianthe. They were both obviously in touch with the land and hopefully with animals as well so if they'd like to ride this beautiful horse they shouldn't have any problems to tame him. tokyobiohazard
Ianthe smiled and hopped up and down a few times in excitement, "Are you sure, Nawen?!" The question seemed to be more of an excited exclamation than an actual question, as she immediately ran to Valiance's side and began to stroke his muzzle. She began to talk to him in a low, but excited voice, and the horse whuffed a few times in happy response. She looked to Nawen, "He really is lovely. I've never ridden a horse before. Guess it's not much more than sitting and steering, though." She rambled on for a few seconds, before marveling at the shiny silver horseshoes on Valiance's hooves. Hazel quietly stood in front of the horse and gingerly touched his muzzle the way Ianthe had done. The horse snorted gently and seemed to nod its head at her. She smiled, and began to stroke the velvety fur. A few moments later, she felt a slight tug at the back of her head, and turned around. She looked back at the horse, and he seemed to be chewing on something very familiar. Ianthe giggled from behind her, "He's eaten half a lock of your hair. Don't worry, you can't tell." Hazel glared at the horse, "I suppose I'll take it as a compliment for now..."
BaldurAnthology
"Ah'll be quieter, dinnae yeh worry, Ah guess ah been a pain, and ah apologize fer that. As fer mah travel, ah'll run. The Green Giant Inn is about a half mile west, and is easily spotted. The Entrance is just further. Ah'll head on ahead, and meet you at the inn, then guide yeh from there." At this Byron picks up his pack, straps it on, slings Voltair across his back, and runs west out of camp, leaving the others in peace to meet them at the green giant inn. He could use the time alone. He always got nervous around people, especially around Drow...
TheBestIdiot122
Norgold was waiting around until Nawen pointed that out, however, the Nymph and the Dryad seemed to be fine with Valiance. Norgold re-tacked Destiny, the horse himself was eating grass while Norgold did this, he patted his head and Destiny looked happy, and returned to eating grass. He grinned as he looked at Nawen, "You don't have to walk, you can take Destiny if you want. I'm used to walking long distances." Norgold said, as he patted Destiny's head. AurianaValoria1
Rhaine sat atop Angel, turning the mare's head towards Leilon, "If we are ready to go, let us be off." She clucked her tongue, and the white horse began ambling forward. She would go no faster than a trot, so the others could keep up. "Nawen, if you wish, go ahead and scout the route to the mining town," Rhaine called back, "I'm not expecting any trouble, but it is better to be safe than sorry, I think." Naktis
Nawen watched Ianthe and Hazel with the slight smile on her face. "Of course. He seems to be fond of you two already." She said and glanced at Norgold and Rhaine. "It's alright. I will go and scout the area. See you all in Leilon!" The drow said and started walking. A black panther joined her as soon as Nawen was in a safe distance from the place where their camp was.
