Norgold's head started to throb, he slowly moved his good arm to feel his head, he felt what seemed to be blood, and moved his hand in front of his face to confirm that it was. He needed to get out of here, and fast.

Caladus chimed in "I have a better Idea." He began the shapeshifting spell of an Avenger Druid to call on his magical forms, shapeshifting into a wyvern. He jumped off the cliff, plunging down wings held tight against his body, and pulled out of the dive to grab Norgold with his clawed feet. He started the flight back up. He loved being a wyvern, it felt so free. After several long minutes, he was finally even with the edge of the cliff and deposited the dwarf with his comrades.

Nawen watched how Caladus turned into a wyvern and went down then came back with Norgold. "Are you crazy? Norgold is injured! You can't move badly hurt like that!" The other plan sounded just fine to her. Edited by Naktis

Xallistine watched everything. If the tentacled being could smile, he would. He had finally found a group of powerful adventurers, they survived a Beholder attack... and that said something. He decided to finally make himself visible. With his Psionic power he floated down from the ledge he was stood on, his robes flowing behind him as he reached the ground, brushing them off, and advancing forward.

Caladus returned to Drow form. "I scarcely see the problem. He is badly hurt, but not so bad that he couldn't be moved. Otherwise I would have healed him myself. Speaking of which.." Caladus calls on the spirits of nature and the god Rilifane to help him heal the dwarf. An incredibly bright nimbus of magic surrounded him. He layed his hands over the dwarf's heart, and healed the dwarf as well as he could. However, the effort was so much, that the magic faltered, and winked out as he collapsed. Byron rushed forward, checked his friend, and poured the contents of a glowing blue bottle down his throat. He then pulled out a tiny bottle that glowed pure white. "Stand back, this stuff be Vigor Volts. This can heal anythin, but can be a mite... flashy." He poured a drop of potion into Norgold's mouth, and got back quickly, and suddenly grasped his amulet, that was chiming insistently again, noticing the floating Ilithid on approach, he drew his hammer, and prepared to defend himself and the others. With a cry of "VOLTAIR!" He whipped his hammer straight at the Ilithid Edited by BaldurAnthology

"Kelemvor's blood!" Rhaine cursed, "Enough with this..."

She stopped as she saw an Ulitharid gliding towards them with an alien grace. The Doomguide instinctively put herself between it and Norgold, raising her sword, "Stay back, mind flayer!"

Nawen only watched silently the whole healing process. She hoped that it was enough for Norgold to recover. That's when she heard someone or something approaching. Her hand reached to the hilt of her short sword. "Something's approaching..." She said quietly and glanced at the others but Rhaine beat her to it. She pulled her short swords and stood beside the Doomguide. Edited by Naktis

Hazel raised an eyebrow, "At least I didn't have to exert myself."

Ianthe stood a few paces away from the others, pulling bits of flesh and congealed blood from her clothing and skin, then looked up at something that caught her eye. Something was descending toward them, something with a tentacled head and and a robe on. "Guys? What's that?"
