Byron was drinking and feasting, as all the dwarves were in the God's feast hall for Dwarves who died in battle or to protect others. He had the strange feeling that all was not right wih his former companions, and this was heightened by his patron, Dugmaren Brightmantle approaching him and saying unto him "Rise, Byron. For although you have fallen, your friends need you still. I am afraid I can grant you little power as a spirit, that would be up tp Dumathoin, however, you will be able to communicate with your friends. Several need your guidance." Byron jumps to his feet. "Jus' tael me wha' Ah haz tae do an Ah'll do it!" Dugmaren looked pleased. "Just advise them where you are able, you will be returned here every day at sunrise. A spirit may not roam the Prime during the day. " The feast hall faded away, to be replaced by a dimly lit room in which the dwarf Norgold was sitting.

Norgold was only a few pages into the book until he felt someone was starring at him. He looked up to see the ghostly spirit of Byron, just looking at him. "What in the Hells..." Norgold murmured. As he gently set down his book, and got up from the chair, then walked around the desk to face the spirit. "How..." Norgold tried to speak, lost of words.

"Am Ah standin 'afore yeh? Mah patron Dugmaren Brightmantle, commanded me tae come and offer ye advice. Nae jus' ye, all of yeh. It seems yeh blame yersaelf fer mah death. It weren't yer fault. If one of us was tae die, it would be me. A crazy dwarf, with a bag o' tricks, and a magic hammer." Byron smiled at Norgold. "Speakin of tha' it belongs tae ye now. Dwarven hammer. Returns tae it's owner when called. Voltair. May it serve ye as wael as it did me."

Norgold was astonished, he has heard about spirits, but he's never seen one in person. He rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't dreaming, but he wasn't. Norgold was literally speechless. He just continued to stare until he turned around, he had forgotten about the book he was reading. "Um... Byron, if you don't mind, I really got to get back to reading. You can visit the others if they're awake..." He said quietly, and with that, he turned around and sat on the chair behind the desk again. He looked at Byron one last time before adverting his eyes to the page again. Edited by TheBestIdiot122

Nawen lay in bed already awake. Someone's creaking door woke her up but she had decided to remain in her room, at least until everyone else will wake up and start roaming the halls of Xallistine's home. She already heard someone walking but judging by the sound it was only two people.

The drow was thinking about everything that happened earlier. This all adventure and the loss of Byron. She saw that Caladus wasn't dealing with the loss of a friend well and she wanted to comfort him but she simply couldn't. She did not know how. She felt guilty because out of the group she was the only one who barely even showed any emotions about it. Just like all of them she missed Byron and hoped that wherever he is now he is happy...

At the same time Nawen also thought about the rest of her new friends. They all are so kind but why she still finds it very difficult to trust them fully? Most of her life she lived with the wall that she built around herself as a protection against others but was it really necessary? In her rather short live she saw the worst of people that Faerûn has to offer but her companions were different yet the wall still remained...

She arose from the bed and was now walking back and forth in her room.

Byron roamed the hall of the place his friends were staying. He assumed that it was the creature's lair he sacrificed his own life for them to get to. He heard someone pacing in a room, and floated through the door. He saw Nawen anxiously pacing. "Wha' saems tae be tha trouble, lass?" He asked, floating over to a chair and sort of hovered an inch off the chair sitting.

Nawen was still walking back and forth when she noticed Byron's ghost. For a brief moment she just stood there, watching the ghost. She had no idea what to say to him. Is he even real or is she hallucinating? "B...Byron? What... how?"

Rhaine had no idea how long she'd slept when she finally awoke, but it felt as though it had been ages. Her sleep had been so deep that she had sunk several inches into the mattress beneath her. It took great effort to swim out of her warm drowsiness and sit up. She noticed that the blanket had been pulled over her, and she grinned. Kelemvor had obviously wanted her to seriously rest, and he had ensured that no dream, nightmare, or even the chill of the Underdark could disturb her.

She stood and stretched, her wingtips brushing the ceiling. The Doomguide felt thoroughly refreshed, and she looked forward to interacting with her companions. She armed and armored herself quickly, repacking her bag and looking around the room to make sure everything was just as she had found it. With Byron's cloak still around her shoulders, she opened her room door and made her way back into the library.

"Oh... it is good to see you again." Nawen said and smiled slightly. Even if he was a ghost it was nice to hear from him again and it seems that he was alright where he was too. She pondered over his question for a moment. "Well we don't know what to do next and that is what bothers me. We just can't sit here and read books." It wasn't exactly what was on her mind now but earlier today it was bothering her and probably others too.
