Doom 3

I am new to Mods . And i want to know how to i install Doom 3 mods on to doom 3 how do i even find anything lol my wife has so many skyrim mods but its easy on here LOL ( Help ? )

Hmm, it's been a few years since I've played any Doom 3 mods, but if I remember correctly, you just download it and extract the contents of the mod package to Doom 3's base install directory, then if all went as it should have, you can run it from directly in the game by going to the mod selection screen and selecting the mod you want to play.

Alright mate, well, there's a few things you need.

 

Specifically, a little program called 7-ZiP (or equivalent). That's so you can un-zip and unpack the mod, which is normaly dowloaded in a "zipped" format.

Doom 3 mods are in fileformat "pak4". They are added to same directory as game's main Pak4 -files are. Then when you start game you must usually activate mod from mod-menu.
