Dragon32
Realistically I think a binary search is the best way to go, I've never heard of this error before, AFAIR. A binary search may sound like a pain but with 200 mods you discount 100 of them on the first run, it's surprisingly quick.

Even after being repaired with cells and spawned monsters removed. Edited April 25, 2018 by perkyguy

leonardo2
@perkyguy: You need to load the Morrowind Patch 1.6.5 Beta (BTB Edit).esm directly after Bloodmoon.esm and not as you do right now after TR_Data.esm and Mainland.esm. Try that if it helps. Bugger. No, it's not a bugger.

leonardo2
Then try to remove MPP 1.6.5 (BTB-Edit).esm and use MPP 1.6.5d. If that doesn't help then you need to load your entire loadorder in TESPCD and search for an error in the Warnings.txt file, exactly what you have when the issue gets triggered. I replaced the 1.6.5 file with the .5d version and no change. Also, at this point i think updating plugins would probably do more harm than good. All of them are working just fine with the exception of the crashing script. The link to the plugin has a 1.6.6 version. Out of curiousity - why didnt you advise updating to that? I put the loadorder used in the crash-imminent-save in TESPCD and i removed the 12 or so plugins listed in the "script" section. Now the game generates warnings on start and save crashes when trying to load. My warnings.txt was mentioned before - some better clothes crap, which is entirely benign. Dragon32
<snip> Bugger. No, it's not a bugger. I meant that now perkyguy has two problems to solve: 1 - What is the minimum mod list to load the save successfully? Then, assuming that loading with that minimum mod list fixes the crash: 2 - What mod, added to the minimum mod list, causes the crash? You can do both using a binary search method, it just takes longer.
