BlackRampage
I tried to learn the basics of load orders, but I dont really get it.so basically, the mods that don't affect the game much belong to the top of the order and the ones which affect the gameplay much belong down, right?Depends on what kind of mod it is and thus what kinds of changes it makes. You can't really "learn" the basics of load orders though. Not just like that. I suppose it takes time, research and experience. For example: In your load order you've got the Dynamic Weather plugins in front of Fellout and MMM. This means that if either of those 2 mods makes changes to any of the worldspaces Dynamic weather changes, those 2 mods will overwrite those changes. (revert them back to vanillla)You can even check this for yourself in Fo3edit: Open Fo3edit, let it load all of your mods, then open "Xepha's Dynamic Weather - Main.esp". Then open up "Wordspace" and check any of the worldspaces in there. So, in other words, it's best to put weather mods (like Dymamic Weather) as low as possible in your load order to ensure that no other mod will overwrite the changes it makes. Speaking of which: Fellout and Dynamic Weather are incompatible with one another. However, If you still want to reap the benefits of both mods, you could place the Fellout plugins above the Dynamic Weather plugins. By the way: It's been a long time since I had the EWE mod, but are you sure the EVE.esp is supposed to be loaded with EWE active? Seems unlikely. When I start playing FO3 with my latest savegame, it takes only 10 seconds to crash, mostly when I travel to new areas.I tried to change FO3 to play with 2 cores, that doesn't help either.Could be a corrupt savegame. What kind of save is it? Manual save or an autosave? And did you try loading other savegames? And are you sure you applied the Multicore bug fix corrrectly? Just in case: - Open the folder My documents / My Games / Fallout3 - Edit the file FALLOUT.ini. - Inside FALLOUT.ini look for a group called [general]. - Inside the general group, after all the configuration parameters, just copy and paste the following 2 lines: bUseThreadedAI=1iNumHWThreads=
M48A5
You need to read this article and follow his advice. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/652876-fallout-3-modding-and-you/. You will also need to download and use B.O.S.S., it might be listed in the files section as Better Obilivion Sorting Software. This will sort your load order in accordance to the mod author's reccommendations.
