Hi

 

I was hoping someone could have a look at the below errors I have been getting when I do my load order through Loot, not sure what I am supposed to do to rectify them.

 

I have a few errors in relation to Valdacils Item Sorting also a scrap everything which is telling me to delete it but I don't know how to delete it off MO2, at the moment I have deselected it in the load order and another one is the "Scrapper Corpse Highlighting" it is telling me that I have not enabled the two patches but again no idea how to go about it.

 

If someone can help that would be great.

Here's where I'd start: uninstall Valdacil's Item Sorting completely and re-download it from his nexus page. However take the time to read through the description on the mod page and understand it has an installer which NMM will run when you activate the mod. Be slow with things and do absolutely read what each option does. This will fix around 95% of the errors you're seeing.

 

Next up, Scrap Everything:

From what I see you have the core file (if not, you should). After that you have choices about what you want to be able to scrap. If you have all the DLC for Fallout 4, then the Ultimate patch is something to add and there may be an update patch, too. You will not need the DLC only patch's if you have Ultimate installed (it has the patches in it). Do read through the mod page and the file descriptions, as those should guide you on what you need.

 

Do find my "Need some help and issues with some tools" post, as I have Scrap Everything and Valdacil's Item Sorting, so my load order on page 2 near the bottom should help you see where some mods need to be. This will help a lot because LOOT is a mixed result for a lot of people resulting in setting up the load order manually.

Greenhornet is using Mod Organizer 2, not Nexus Mod Manager...

 

I've never used MO2 myself, but the best thing to do is learn how to uninstall mods through MO2. Most of those errors LOOT gives is because you have installed plug-ins that are already incorporated in the install of Valdacil' Sorting mod and need a simple uninstall.

 

Other errors are because you chose the simple route and installed Valdacil's Picks to not having to go through all the possible options the mod has, but in doing so you installed patches for which you don't have the mods.

 

So, either get th mods for which the patches are installed, or, like bbiler said, re-install Vladacil's Sorting mod but this time use the FOMOD to tick what you want yourself. That's it.

 

But, again, read-up on how to uninstall mods in MO2. There's no point in using a mod organiser and not knowing how to organise mods with it.

Hi Guys

 

Thanks for the valuable feedback, I did as you both suggested and uninstalled and reinstalled Valdacils mod and that seemed to have done the trick, just in defense of that one, I did read it but it was quite confusing when I first did it and I thought I needed all the patches which obviously now in hindsight I did not.

 

In regard to the scrapper mod I have got the the core file, the ultimate edition, but it is telling me to delete the vault tec one and even though it is in my load order I can't seem to see how you would go about deleting it without deleting the whole mod.

 

The scrapper corpse highlight one is telling me to enable the automatron and far harbor patch for this one but again I don't know how to go about doing that because in MO2 the core file is the one you enable in the load order .

Ultimate should have additions for the DLC's in it already, so I'd check for an update or patch to those other mods. The Vault tec patch may be in your files directly, or listed elsewhere in your mod organizer of choice. Do check where the mod archives were placed when downloaded. Once you have that location in hand, head there, find the patch file archive and open that in the archive manager of your choice (7Zip or IZArch will do the trick). Once you've opened that archive you should see the files that patch uses. Hunt for those or the archive name itself in your organizer and proceed to at least disable that file or files. That should take care of things. Do note that if you want to totally remove that patch, do close anything other than your organizer that is accessing it before doing the removal.
