spnphoenix92
I imagine i might get a few "haters" but i really like playing Skyrim but i don't like having to pray to other gods in it. The obvious response to this is then don't pray at their alters but, i think it would be much better if there was a mod for a cross or crucifix alter in the game. It would be nice to have a quest to get the armor and sword that is talked about in Ephesians 6:10-18. That would be awesome. If i learn how to mod ill do it myself but i don't have lots of time to mod or the talent for it. Thank you for even reading this. Sincerely, MagnetDrake TDA P.S. I am smart enough to realize the armor and sword in Ephesians is metaphorical. I am actually planning on a storyline where there is a demon war and you have to aquire all of those armors and the sword to defeat them. I was doing this for Oblivion, but I decided to quit and instead wait for Skyrim. I am still learning about Skyrim's mod interface, but as soon as I can I will start working on it. You are not alone in being a Christian gamer who doesnt like having fake "gods".
Locoz666
So far, no problems. However, Nexus has a hard rule about discussing religion in the forums because of the flaming, trolling and general bad behavior of normally mild mannered people when religion is brought up. Please keep the discussion on the mod and keep theology out of it. At the FIRST post where some one starts proselytizing, or bashing someone for their belief (or lack thereof) - the hammer swings, and the topic will be closed. You can bann me right now if your telling me that the "high and mighty nexxus forms" has a rule against disscussing religion but not a rule against idiots asking for Di -ck mods and nude skins. as if the nexxus forms have any right to decide whats right or not. its your forms so you can keep what you want on there, but dont pretend like "its the right thing to do"
VileTouch
i have to say i do agree with bben..not because i think religion is a bad thing to discuss, but because discussing it is bound to cause major chaos... i made a comment on real world religion (and i apologize for being carried away) but then again it was not meant as an attack against anyone... so far nudes and sex mods have not caused any major conflict in the forums...although some of them do cause some...irk
Moraelin
I dunno, I like to think that there'd be some kind of moderator intervention or another if discussions degenerated into what's wrong with people who use UNP as opposed to the One True CBBE :P
ImJustAGamer
Okay, this is something new. Instead of renaming the shrines you could replace them with actual (and fitting) saints. I think Bethesda actualy used them as reference for their TES gods so why not? You would need some meshes that look like the fitting statues to replace the shrines. You know a statue of Mary (Mara), one of Jesus (I think he would fit to replace Arkay) and so on. Also helpful would be a replacer for the chapel windows. This one should be easy to make with photoshop. Just a few suggestions. P.S.: I have to say that I don't like religions but I don't have a problem with this thread. As long as he doesn't want to force me into christianity and/or declares a new crusade I'm fine.
