desboy113
hey guys. sorry i haven't posted in quite a while. in the constuction set, i have made a new faction and dialogue about joining the faction. how do you make it so that a certain npc can talk about it in-game? i just thought that anyone who fit the certain "speaker condition" would automatically have the dialogue choice when you talk to them. the speaker condition in this case is the grandmaster of the faction, and same faction = 0. when i look at the npc's dialogue in the constuction set, he has the dialogue option, but doesnt have it in-game. can anyone help me? please respond. Don88
Like any topic the player has to hear about it to be able to use it in game. if your topic was "join the Cool Club", set the npcs greeting to something like: Are you here to :!: join the Cool Club :!: ? Test it and this bit should come up in blue and then when you click on it you should be told whatever. it should also be added to your list. ThetaOrionis01
To introduce the topic to the player you need to use 'AddTopic' in the results field of either an NPC's greeting, or one of the standard Morrowind topics - greeting would probably be preferable. Eg. for the topic 'join my faction' you would type in: AddTopic "join my faction"
