AceX7218
I've played bits and pieces of Morrowind in the past, but never done a serious play-though; however, I recently bought the game on Steam and I'm planning on doing a true play-through, you know, just trying to do everything and soak up as much of the game as I can. The thing is, though, that I've seen on the Morrowind news board on Steam that there is a decent looking mod called Morrowind: Rebirth. It looked like it changed a lot of gameplay, landscape, and quite a bit else. I was just wondering, should I do my first realâ play-through with Morrowind: Rebith, or just vanilla Morrowind? Any feedback would be much appreciated. (P.S., try not to give any spoilers in your answers, if there would be any. Just in case...)
leonardo2
No. I would advice you not to try Morrowind Rebirth as it changes a lot of stuff, instead play vanilla without mods. Later, you can always try mods which most people do and if you want mod recommendations then read this post or post a new thread and ask for recommended mods. AceX7218
All right. Thank you for the input.
Dragon32
I'm also with Leonardo on this, try vanilla first and see what you think. This old thread is worth a read - http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1305729-mod-recommendations-for-new-players/ Basically get Morrowind Code Patch and a version of the Unofficial Patch (links in thread), those just fix things. Deleted57218227User
Vanilla Morrowind used to be great...but I have fallen in love with Rebirth.
