TerramineLightvoid
I sincerely apologize to make a second topic on this. However following the DO NOT BUMP sticky thread, topics with replies tend to be overlooked because people think that means a mod request is being solved. However this isn't always the case, as the sticky itself points out... some people try to bump their own thread to move it to the front page. Sometimes a Mod has replies but the replies don't solve the problem because nobody knows how to solve the problem. Or in my case, someone replies that basically craps all over the whole topic and deliberately involves themselves despite refusing to co-operate with what the OP requests in the first place.I do not mean to come accross as ungrateful, or rude. I am not going to take the person who solves this problem for granted, and I don't think the loads of Xbox players that also deal with this issue, will either. If I had a PC I would make the mod myself, but I simply do not and therefore cannot make the mod myself. So let's try this... again. There is a massive immersion breaking bug which can be triggered many different ways and once it is triggered you cannot get rid of it without either a console command, or a Mod. Specifically the bug is that the Vault 111 anouncer sound clip that says "critical error in the cryogenic array" at the beginning of the game, will play in many other interiors besides Vault 111 after you leave the vault. The solution here is for someone to make a Mod that either replaces the file for that sound clip with a blank one(Free Resource Silent MP3: https://www.2shared.com/audio/muzIC9Iw/Silent_sound_file.html), or adds a cassette tape that can trigger this console command: SetStage 0001ED62 100I am specifically requesting that somebody /make/ 1 of these 2 mods for Xbox One. Not to ask another user on the nexus, who has made such a mod for PC, for the permission to port their mod over. Either make your own, or move along. Anything else is missing the point and is off-topic. This is not a difficult mod to make, it literally would take like 2 minutes and amateur modding skill to pull off. Please and Thank You. kdridders
I will whip one up for you. It's published on Bethesda.Net, so you should be able to download it on XB1 "Critical Error In Cryo Bay Audio Fix (XB1)" Edit: I have read the other thread, please be polite to mod authors, this isn't a paid service where you expect for instant results or even a result at all for that matter. TerramineLightvoid
THANK YOU. And yes I know that, I know I wasn't ENTITLED to someone making this mod. The main point was just that the request was clearly stated in the OP so if nobody wanted to do it then... that would be that. But like I said, someone else had basically already asked those mod authors if they would upload their mods for Xbox. That seems like a pretty clear indicator for what the answer is, whether they aren't online anymore to see it or they just didn't want to. That was the whole reason I went out of my way to make a request topic, because that had already been attempted by somebody. I got a bit irritated when I even tried HELPING the guy trying to give me help, and he still insisted on doing something completely different from what I asked. Again, making the original topic completely inert because nobody else was going to answer it. Chucksteel claims he got permission from both people today, that seems a bit... convenient. Since they didn't respond to other people's requests. In any case, you basically proved me right because it probably took a handful of minutes to whip something up when you saw my post. But if Chucksteel is telling the truth, he literally messaged them early yesterday and wouldn't have been able to upload the mods until this morning. In any case this is MUUUUUCH appreciated. Now I gotta go through and tell people that were wanting this, that it's up finally. Exellent work man.
MissingMeshTV
Ya know, a simple "thank you" would have sufficed. It is totally unnecessary to continue disparaging someone who was genuinely trying to help you.
TerramineLightvoid
Ya know, a simple "thank you" would have sufficed. It is totally unnecessary to continue disparaging someone who was genuinely trying to help you. That's funny, considering he and his lacky disparaged me first? I was completely civil and just trying to emphasize that I didn't want that kind of help. Then instead of listening to anything I said, I literally got insulted with "He's the great chucksteel!!! How dare you question him!!!??!?" Meanwhile, all I have said is simply the truth. If the truth is disparaging, maybe you should get your act right so the truth isn't against you. I needed to make sure it was clear, I am completely grateful to this guy because he GENIUNELY wanted to help. Truly. He answered the topic, only so that he could fulfill the request as asked. You aren't supposed to respond, little alone badger someone with a completely different solution than they asked for, if you're not gonna do what they asked. I DID give a simple "thank you". In the parts of my response that were actually targeted at /him/.
