OOC: sorry for the lack of posts

Khamir listening to all that has been going on trying to get a feel for the true situation. He is begging to feel that there will be more to this trip than a mere war but whose he to have those feelings, he grew up farming. He hears Torvild ask something about Asgard and if anyone knew anything about it.

"No, have never left my home untill i saw the flier promising free food, weapons, and armor. Never really thought to ask before we left what the place was like either."

In contrast to many of the uneasy soldiers onboard, Aseir seems perfeclty at home on the boat. He stands silent watch on the top deck, eyes locked on the horizon. He seems to be looking for something... but what remains unknown...

After a while, he sits down against the railing and pulls a book and pen from a pocket in his cloak. He begins writing something, book held carefully at an angle where nobody can read it.

For days you sail on the seas, to the east, to Asgard. However after a few days the crew of the ship seems to becoming restless. They were approaching Asgard but also the Sea of the Damned.

Many ships had found their doom on these waters, mostly pirates and other scum but some ships just disappeared...

The crew remained on high alert and every night several guards were set out.

Fortunatly for you things seem to remain rather calm and on one morning you wake up and you see the woman you have seen before in Ebonheart standing at the bow of the ship. She's enjoying the sea's sent and the breeze that softly slides by her skin.

Couriosity finally gets the best of Khamir and since the female seems to know of this Asgard he decides that he should ask her what the terrain is like. Walking twoards her yet not getting to close for he wouldn't want to frighten her, yet he knows that she could cut him down and not think twice about it. Getting close enough that she could hear him he shouts, "Excuse me Miss...I am sorry for being so rude but the soldiers on this ship have been inquiring for a few days on what exactly it is like in Asgard. What the climate is like what the people are like. We well I have heard that you come from that part of the world. Will you be kind enough as to tell us alittle bit about your home?" Khamir then stops and hopes that he didn't offend the woman he now addressed.

Torvild eyes a weevilly biscuit evilly. "They didn't say the voyage was so long we would all end up with ricketts and scabies. I have no fear of the sea but the scenery is decidedly dull and idling the time away in games of chance has no interest for me."

Seeing Khamir approach the Asgardian, he moves closer to eavesdrop on their conversation.

The woman turns her head and looks you straight in the heart. She has a strong look and blue eyes. Then she turns her head away from you...

As you disappointed walk away you hear her voice, a calm and soft voice with a Nord accent.

<Ever wandered trough the shinny grazelands? A lot like the Plains only that the Plains are greener. The Marshes are one nasty swamp and Marouan is a highland, green and gray, grassy and rocky and then there are the dark Fire Mountains, nasty moutains with a lot of lava. The sun shines a lot but it rains from time to time and when it rains it is as the Gods are fighting. When it rains it comes with thunder and lightning, several times in the month, sometimes three whole days...

But let the rain not scare you, I would never want to live somewhere else...>

By the last sentence you notice how the memory's brought up weren't all greeny lands and the shining of the sun.

She then stops talking and stares over the sea again...

<It was a nice place...>

Khamir was taken in by her blue eyes and the passion that she spoke with. He stands were he stopped when she began to speak and then he decided to reply to what she had just said.

"I am sorry my Lady for I did not mean to bring up what seems to have disturbed you so. Yet, the way you speak of your home land....It was amazing. Your passion alone seems to make this trip worth going. I may be but a farmer but in time I only hope to feel the way about a home the way you feel about yours. I had only joined this fight because of reasons that are not what they should have been but i will if need be give my life for you and your home." Khamir finished.

Khamir pauses and then starts to walk away to find a place were he can sit and think on things that she has said.

The words that register with Torvild are the last. "It was a nice place." But what is it now? He idly whittles at a piece of wood producing a small flute. Who knows? Perhaps they will need music to keep up their spirits in what will surely be dark days to come.
