Helpful active place for modders.

I'm looking for a place where there are a fair amount of people who like helping those of us who are new/inexperienced with modding and don't mind taking the time to answer our questions, which usually end up being incredibly simple.

I've slowly been diving deeper into modding, using Fo4 Edit and such tools, but whenever I run into a snag I simply don't have the required knowledge to address, I find myself stuck as finding help is rather difficult. I've tried asking questions in the Nexus discord, the forums here, and various other places, but despite literal thousands of people being online, there's maybe 1 or 2 people who actually try to help, and they aren't always around.

If there's a place out there with more active engagement, I'd love to find it.

bethesda.net as annoying as people say it is, does have more modder activity imo.

Upload a mod here and get into the mod authors forums where most reside here. Another is Reddit i hear but i don't know about that as i try to avoid Mos Eisley. Also Sim Settlements is a good place for modding if you try to make settlement stuff.

I try to help out whenever I can, but it's really tough to help someone with 0 knowledge of papyrus, for example. It's like trying to teach someone english who doesn't know english. Papyrus related questions come up the most. Also, there's folks that aren't really looking for help, but more like looking for someone to make their mod for them.

 

There's also the thing that Skyrim and Fallout 4 are ancient, and lots of people have moved on.
