[Mod Request] Caravan/Provision Guards

I have a mod request just for immersion purposes. I would love to see Caravan/Provision Guards for my supply lines, just 2 guards that follow them on their travels. I know they cannot be killed, but it would just be good for immersion.

You'd basically want the game to spawn 2 guards when you assign a supply line (which I think could make happen) and then have it follow the provisioner... (I don't think I could make this happen)

The issue is that as far as I know the provisioners don't use a preset path that is used on a timer or something that I could assign the guard to... I'd have to see how the caravan travels... To see if the guards etc actually follow the trader, or just follow the same timed path... I'll have a look tonight...

Alright, I did some research and I think I found a solution, but I'm not sure if it's possible as I've never done it before...

 

It would require altering the Workshopparent script and this is something I'm somewhat reluctant to do...

I realized that the supply lines have already something that acts in exactly the way you want it to, save for the fighting when attacked... The Brahmin...

Theoretically, it should be possible to add 2 guards to the Workshopparent script the same way the Brahmin is added in it... But I shall have to ask around if altering the Workshopparent script is a viable option...

I mean, it's the big one... The one thing you probably shouldn't mess with if you don't want to screw up the whole settlement system and everything that goes with it...

Fair enough, it just seems like it should be possible. I do know of a mod that added 2 guards to Trashcan Carla they follow her around the same way they do Lucas and so forth. Perhaps a similar system could be used for provisioner's? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24542/? Honestly a mod that did this as well as added them for Trashcan Carla would be a great immersion mod :)
