MysteriousGuy
This is not a bug. Its simply bad user experience. In short: Upgrading mods in vortex is a pain. Vortex got quick link next to mod version number to mod page where you can download new version of a mod which is great but: 1. You cannot tell vortex to stop checking for specific mod updates. You can change mod version number to latest one, but Vortex will still tell you that mod has an update. 2. When you want to update and you download new version of a mod vortex will most often not recognize that you already have older version that you want to replace most of the times. Instead your new mod version is installed as a new mod that is conflicting with older version of the same mod.So instead of simply replacing old mod you first have to uninstall old mod and then again set up all the rules for conflicts. Thats a pain to do every time. 3. Vortex is sometimes recognizing old version of the mod and is by the default keeping it active even though you already downloaded new version to replace old one. It would be lot better to ask a user if they want to keep the old version of a mod. Current setup is a pain as well coz instead of simply upgrading (replacing old mod with new mod) you first have to remove old mod and install new one and again set up all the rules for conflicts. Please improve this.
Kongolan
I second this. Beside of that when you want to sort for the versions and see what your other mods have, you can't do so the sorting on advanced mode doesn't work.

kamikatze13
ran into this issues a few days back. definitely needs improvement. i resolved to updating my mods manually via changing the files inside the respective mod folder.
