As of v0.63.17 NMM supports esl plug-ins. Esl (elder scrolls light) are plug-ins created especially for the Creation Club and they don't count towards total plug-in amount. You will see 273 plug-ins in red on the NMM mods interface, sure, but when looking at the amount at the bottom of NNM's plugins tab, you'll see how many count towards total plug-in number (index number of the bottom plug-in). In NMM's plugins tab you'll also see that there's a lot of esl files sitting at the top, mixed with esm plugs and you'll notice those esl plugs don't have a load order or index number to their right. Bethesda did this to be able to circumvent the 255 plug-in limit. So, there's nothing to worry about as long as you keep track of the REAL amount of plug-ins in use by checking the index number of the very last/bottom entry on NMM's plugins tab. Me, I have 295 active plug-ins, but only 246 of those count towards total amount. The rest (49) are esl plugs. To make sure you have the latest NMM update, check GitHUB.
