wesaynothin
Whats some great bands you've heard recently that are the under-dogs. Local hits who should be heard all over? I've heard a few- 1. Lucky Boys Confusion-Great band. Punk/Alternative/ Ska (I think). From Chicago 2.The Expendables-Awesome. Local too :D . Ska/Reggae/Alternative/Punk Those are my two- for now. Breton Thief Oriana
And for the trance fan--I have two also 1.Dj Tiesto-possibly my favorite single dj of trance. his mixes soothe the soul and stir the body. 2.Dj Icey-cool. Infact, downright cold. He's Icey, man! (enoguh punnin' for now.) He does alot of awesome mixes too, but it really is darker than Dj Tiesto
ohGr
and for the other crap fan (metal, quite doubtful on these forums) Death - the inventors of death metal, their new stuff is the greatest, really, really complicated guitar work. Carcass - another death metal band, i suggest ye check out their 1994 album, Heartwork Arch Enemy - thrash metal band, very fast, and quite talented, check out their song Ravenous Cannibal Corpse - death metal band, very heavy, with many gore themed songs...in fact...all of them are. im supposed to be doing work right now, so ill post more for the sake of it later

Because I put it on random and let the fateful computer decide! ;)
loveme4whoiam
Muchas respect to the holy Admin, for he has much of the music on my own PC. To add more to the punk/soft rock scene, i have to include the following: Good Charlotte (possibly the best band in the world)Fountains of Wayne (who've only released one single in the UK, but it is truly excellent.)Umm, really all the rest of my list would repeat Dark0ne's, but i think the Red Hot Chili's have to be mentioned again. The classical stuff i have are generally film soundtracks, such as the Gladiator, Star Wars, and all three LotR films.
Breton Thief Oriana
Good Charlotte (possibly the best band in the world) Dear god, not another one of YOU people! [ :P ] well, not as much a prefrence, but trance is the awesomist. More awesome Trance artists-- Dj Aligator Project- Just get it. I promise you won't be dissapointed. Darude- probably most popular trance artist out there. E-type- Good soft trance, alot of classic sirens like out of the old days. Plus, its all Euro-trance (Maybe what the 'E' means) Groove Armada- As far as trance goes, this adds a club mix and is very funny. Can't say that about most trance. Rock (Or acid) music-- New Years Revolution- ooh, a shameless self plug. If you can find anyone who has my bands gold album, send it or a copy of it to me. gotta realize: unlike GS, It isnt about the money for me. System Of A Down- even yhough we arn't supposed to talk about them on these forums. They are awesome, and therefore go here. Lords of Acid- maybe a little too perverted for some of you people. Yokko Kanno- did the music for Cowboy Bebop. mostly acid jazz (Love it, too)
