Hidden files in my Fallout 4 folder.

Hello all, I was fiddling with bodyslide for a while, wondering why the program didn't seem to be exporting the files it said it was. I would follow the exact directions - and yet, no CROSS Courser Strigidae nif files found, whatsoever, anywhere in the data folder. I tried this multiple times, reinstalling bodyslide in multiple ways, and nothing worked, even though it was giving me confirmation.

Then I began fiddling about a little more, accessing the FO4 directory from within Bodyslide - and suddenly out pops dozens of folders and files hidden within the folder, I navigate to the meshes directory - and what do you know! There it is, clear as day within it. I copied and pasted this from these hidden directories, among with many other folders of long forgotten mods I thought had been uninstalled by NMM when I switched to mod organizer. They are completely invisible when browsing, but are absolutely there, taking up about 65 gb. I've tried copying the directory directly into windows explorer, and it gives me naught but a "location not available" error - I went and followed guides for resolving this, but I already have full permissions for my user account, and I'm at my wit's end. What on earth is happening here? I've tried uninstalling Fallout 4, deleting the entire folder - and it gives me a mere 700 or so mb from other mods that I could already see. Upon reinstalling (an arduous process with my slow internet connection) I return - and the files are all still there. I've contemplated poking around in regedit, but I am no IT wizard and am afraid such action might worsen the situation.

I have included screenshots of the situation, and will provide any more information requested if I am capable of doing so. I'm completely at my wit's end, and I beg of you good people, please help. What on earth is going on here?

If you want to delete those folders, or see 'em in explorer, simply set invisible files to visible. To do that (in Windows 7), open explorer, hit "Tools" in the top toolbar and choose "Folder Options" from the roll-out menu. In the next menu, choose the "View" tab and in that tab scroll down to "Hidden Files And Folders" and tick the bullet in front of "Show hidden files, folders and drives".

Hit "OK" and you're done.

Sorry about that - I'd actually already done that, it was one of the first things I'd done when I built my PC. Hidden files have been set to be visible for years, and that's not it, to my knowledge. The screenshot shows that hidden items are set to visible in explorer, actually.
