sopmac45
I am showing some plugins with dependencies from other mods that no longer exist in my load order. This issue has been from the very beginning that started to use Vortex but I could not post a screenshot before. Also, after the first time I saw those dependencies even though I did not have those mods installed anymore, I decided to uninstall Vortex completely and reinstall it back up and still they are showing. I do not believe those dependencies are "active", otherwise, I will get an error I guess from missing a mod from which another is depending on, but it is annoying to see that when a new game is restarted from fresh, and you no longer have those mods, they are still showing up.Is this possible to be fixed ? Here, I am showing that I do not have any dependency setup in my current game : … here I am showing that this mod Immersive Sounds Compendium, is showing a dependency related to Reverb and Ambiance, which no longer exist in my game : … and here something still more strange, Modern Brawl is showing a dependency from a Bashed Patch that I never ever had before … weird … … @ Tannin, is this normal ? Please explain to me why Vortex is showing - not deleting - ( on some mods ) a dependency and not showing the same on the majority ? Thanks so much …
WastelandAssassin
what you are seeing aren't dependencies , these are load order rulesyou can even see it in writing "loads after" does not imply requirements , as you would clearly see if you checked these mods (ISC does not require that reverb mod , and no mod should require a bashed patch plugin) what errors are you seeing , and when do they show up? Do not know if it is an error or not and my question was : why it is showing "load after" when I do not have Reverb and Ambiance mod installed in my game ? It is showing up in the PLUGINS tab. Just to give you an extra history, on my first game after I started to use Vortex, I had both mods : Reverb and Ambiance and Immersive Sounds. Immersive sounds was load after. After that game, I decided not to use Reverb and Ambiance anymore and again, Reverb and Ambiance is not longer in my current MOD list, so why is still showing that ? By the way, I have started my game several times since the very first time when I used both mods and since then, Immersive Sounds is showing the "load after" message that you see. Why if I am not using Reverb and Ambiance mod, is still showing the "load after" rule ? It is not supposed to be there if a new game has started without the mod and obviously without the rule, is it ? Thanks
WastelandAssassin
I don't know what is causing this , but I haven't tried to use Vortex thus far , so I don't know all of the featuresbut if you look at these messages , they have an Edit button on them , see what happens when you use it (I think it will allow you to remove these rules , and thus these messages)

KarebuS
This isn't a bug.It is just showing you all the rules that that plugin has. Even if you don't have it installed.

Then why is not showing up for all the mods / plugins on which I created rules in my past games ? I do believe that Tannin perhaps could fix this because it should delete / wipe out all rules as soon as you remove / uninstall your game, it should not carry over the next one the information rule that was used before. It is not affecting my current game but it should not carry over that information over the next game.
Tannin42
The rules written in italics are from the loot masterlist. That's why you can't remove them. Vortex will not remove rules automatically, what if you're switching between multiple profiles or if you disable a mod temporarily to debug a problem? How insanely annoying would it be if Vortex dropped all rules and then you had to set them up again?I consider it one of the big advantages of the dependency system that rules don't get lost that easily. Having rules for plugins that aren't installed doesn't hurt.
