WanderA101
So, here I am, deciding to go back to Fallout 4 when my NMM couldn't connect to the update and login servers. So I uninstalled my old version then installed the latest version but... I'm still getting that problem. Am I doing something wrong here?
CarnivorousClown
Had the same problem. Here's how I fixed it. Deleted the old version.Downloaded the new version, saved to desktop (didn't run it)Right click, choose properties, choose compatibility options, click on "run as administrator"InstallWorked
WanderA101
Actually, fixed the login problem. It's my AVG being a bit of a butt. Had to add it on a new line of program rules  to get it to accept logins. Still won't connect to the update server though.
CarnivorousClown
I'm having that update server problem, too. The game plays, the mods load...so I guess I can live with that one. I was thinking about checking the firewall, next time I'm bored.
JimmyRJump
The update only worked when the development of NMM was done on The Nexus itself. You'll need to manually check for updates on GitHUB, where the NMM devs are now. They're at v0.65.5 so far. Also, never delete an older version of NMM unless the developers specify as such. Simply download the exe, right-click it and choose "install as administrator" from the context menu and let the new install overwrite the old one. Otherwise, you risk to have to install every single mod all over again.
