TaarKarn Posted May 8, 2012 Share Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) Heya!I'm playing Fallout 3 with mods a long time now. It's one of the greatest games I've ever played. But now it seems like I have some problems with it. I can easily start my game, load the save and then play for 2 or 3 minutes. After those 2 or 3 minutes my game crashes. I read a lot about this problem and that it is related to the loadorder or incompatibility between some mods. But now I wonder which one it is? Maybe someone can tell me if theres a problem with my mods or the loadorder. M48A5 Posted May 8, 2012 Share Posted May 8, 2012 The problem with your load order is that Fallout 3.esm must be at the top, followed by the DLCs. You can load Streetlights.esm in with the DLC's. I don't use it, so I can't tell you where it goes. I suggest that you download and install B.O.S.S. to get your load order right, FOMM to manage you mods and FO3Edit and the manual to check for conflicts and create a merged patch. Exactly what part of Lings won't work if you place it somewhere else in your load order? Do you know what Lings does? Anyway, the reason why it's still crashing is because both of those rely on other master (.esm files) to be loaded in front of it. Running Project Beauty and Lings doesn't work. Also this doesn't solve my Problems, I now know why it keeps crashing. A little time ago I installed an old version of the pipboy readius. I've uninstalled it, but it seems it's still in the saved game data, so all i gotta do is to start a new game. Pretty bad. Now 721 hours of fun & work are wasted. :wallbash: Yeah well. also needed to use a new version of lings. I had an really old version of it. Now everything works. I hope there is a way to save my save games. But beside that. Thanks for you help. If you hadn't wrote "Do you know what Lings does?" , I would have not even noticed that Lings and Project Beauty don't work together. Hehe. Also, there is a fix you can apply to Redesigned that will allow it to run with Ling's. It is explained at the Ling's download page.
