0102: Of Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins and Others

Word came to the great movement of army, and refugees, that Europe had fallen to the UtopianLords. The UtopianLords were no longer really such any more. They were either twisted versions of their older selves, had become UnityLords or, as many had started doing, were becoming FactionlessLords. FactionlessLords, of their nature, would be attractive to many FactionLord Factions desperately seeking new FactionLords to bolster their numbers but for now they joined the fight against the False UtopianLords.

Europe fell and a grayness of spirit seemed to expand across it. More atrocities were reported of captive civilian populations and prisoners of war. The Battle of the English Channel began and Great Britain had become a bastion of AntiUtopianLord Forces. The Channel Islands soon became fortified outposts of one or the other side.

The convoy came to Robertville and yet Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins did not go into the settlement at first but went out on a search and slay mission. They did this only after their TransCube was safely delivered to the care of Graham Maharg in what had been a True Illuminati complex and which, somehow, had gained the name of the Tomkins' Bunker Complex (Tomkins' Bunkers).

The three of them ran quickly through transformed Outback bushland, past small flowing creeks that would have been dry, at that time of year, before the Great Sphere had arisen. They passed the abandoned ruins of settlements, of a scientific outpost set up to research effects of the Great Sphere and past a metallic stone structure growing up out of the ground that was an outcrop of the Great Labyrinth. It was a half crazy melding of spheres, vertical cylinders, cubes and pyramids. There were windows, doors, balconies, walkways that were largely functional.

It was dark, with night, as they came to the metallic stone structure to look upon it with surprise for not only was it quite elaborate but also massive. This had never happened before, as far as they knew, on any AlternateEarth being invaded by the Great Sphere.

They crouched low to make themselves less visible, doing so surrounded by boulders and bushes. There were moderately bright lights showing in the windows and open doorways, there also being closed doors of various kinds.

Voice {Stranger and stranger! Can you 'sense' what is in there?}

Buffy frowned softly. The triplets had been communicating with the 'Voice' for some months, on and off. The 'Voice' had helped them come to the right AlternateEarth to find the other Tomkins. They had come to like, if not love, the 'Voice'.

Buffy spoke. “No glowing white mist, no everfolk ever day dreaming sleep walking, no green glimmering fog, no shambling undead, no damphirs.... people but changed. Unity but not quite as we are familiar with.”

Humans, and humanoids, came out onto into a great big semi-enclosed balcony structure. They wore varieties of tough outdoors gear, a few carried weapons of varied kinds and a few wore body-armor. Many of the garbs they wore were often of the kind obtained from the autodispensers of the Great Labyrinth that peoples in Robertville, Cobber Paddy and other places were gaining from autodispensers. A small number wore curious robetunics and carried long slim staffs.

The weapons were a curious mixture of exotic swords, spears and bows but with exotic nature to them that showed that they were more than they seemed to be. Yet there were also guns of various kinds from big powerful bolt-action rifles to exotic looking energy devices.

The humans were about half those there but there were winged humanoids, amphibious looking humanoids with visible gills and webbing, hulking big humanoids and others elegantly tall and slender. The hulking ones carried great big bolt-action riles, if they carried any weapons. All there carried backpacks of varied sizes except the winged humanoids.

Voice {Labyrinth humanity and evolved humans under Great Labyrinth influences. Unity but not quite the same as the Unity arising amongst humanity of the AlternateEarths. Fascinating!}

Then the empathic-telepathic invitation came from the strangers, for who ever was out there, to join them.

0103: Of Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins and Others

One moment they were not there and then the next the triplets were standing at the edge of the small clearing where the meeting was agreed upon to happen. The odd assortment of people that made up the delegation were surprised by the way the triplets seemed to come out of nowhere but not shocked; it was as if they had experienced such acts before.

A tall woman stepped forward wearing a robetunic and carrying a long staff. She smiled warmly and the smile did reach her eyes. “We are the Wayfolk of the UnityWays who have wandered the Great Labyrinth for many centuries seeking a home world of our own. We travel through the Great Labyrinth, send expeditions, have trade with others. We communicate with the everfolk, though that can be difficulty, with the damphirs, with others, even with the dangerous Omnity and the Mistoria of the glowing white mists. The Aeiou are active once more, dwelling at the edges of the GlowingMist. The glimmering green fogs are moving through the Great Labyrinth, with their undeath and undead. There is the feeling of change in the ways of the Great Sphere and the Great Labyrinth. This structure arising from the ground is a new kind. The Great Labyrinth seems to be... actually we do not know what it is doing.”

The statement showed that the newcomers wanted to get down to the important business of exchanging information.

Muffy spoke. “The Great Sphere has always only been active on three AlternateEarths at most, at any one time, as far as we know. It has always emerged on the continent that is often known as Australia or New Holland or Tasmaria or the Great Southern Continent or by other such names like Greater New Zealand or Grenmark or New China or many others. Now it is emerging in the middle of North America, that is what is known as North America on many worlds along with New Norseland, the Grand Indian Nations and much else.”

The other woman frowned. “I am named Saleisha of WayClan WayTaroao. We have never heard of this change happening before. Never have more than three AlternateEarths been invaded by the Great Sphere at once and always it has emerged on the same part of any AlternateEarth. You are not of the FactionLords, as we first guessed, but something related to them. Are you False Eternals?”

Buffy responded. “We are! We were born on the original Home AlternateEarth of the False Eternals and FactionLords also others long gone their own way. Yes, also the Aeiou who are between FactionLords and False Eternals but who have no classification as such.”

“An odd mixture of wisdom and foolishness, the Aeiou.” Saleisha spoke as she looked around the Australian Outback, that version of it, with wonder. “It is too bad that the Great Sphere will engulf and absorb this world.”

“Things are changing and perhaps we can save this world.” Tuffy spoke this time. “Unity is arising amongst humanity of many AlternateEarths, including this one. Perhaps you could join in alliance with them and you could assist each other?”

“This is new! Unity arising with such strength and on more AlternateEarth at once, especially amongst troubled fragmented humanity. We will communicate with this other Unity and will form alliance with others, like yourselves.” The woman nodded. “We will go with you to where all of the humans are going, soldiers and others.”

A cluster of airships passed in the distance and with them was on UnityLord aeroship being more advanced than the airships, being a clever hybrid of airship and helicopter plus other elements. They were heading towards Robertville. The woman shook her head. “Amazing! There are large domeland chambers in the Great Labyrinth but the biggest are only three thousand kilometres across, as far as we know, and a third of that high at the center.”

Buffy responded. “We have been in the Great Labyrinth many times and yet we have never heard of your people?”

“We would be surprised if you did for the Great Labyrinth is far larger, far more elaborate, than most even imagine it is.” The woman sighed. “We come from the Reflective Great Labyrinth that exists between, and outside of, the Great Labyrinth Zones of the AlternateEarths.”

Buffy looked concerned. “Then your people would not be able to stay outside of that place for more than, perhaps, a year or so. You would be adapted to, altered by, the Great Labyrinth and be unable to live permanently outside of it.”

The woman nodded. “We call it the Grand Labyrinth Curse and we seek to overcome it for many of our future children even if not for ourselves. That is one reason we seek the alliance that you suggested but only one. There is much we have to tell you, that we have to warn you of.”

0104: Of the OmniObserver and Others

SamWaSam (Sammy Tomkins) remained in a deep meditative like state inside the TransCube that had been found for him by the people of the area and SihiSihiLo. SihiSihiLo examined other items found in the same great chamber and was amazed by what she found. There were many lesser power-artifacts and artifact-entities, there were even some AncientLordly artifacts of mysterious quality and there were other items such as NeoCamelot Robotic Knights, Superman Super-Androids, a Silvernari saucerboat, a dalek attack-dart, pinball machines, collections of metre wide laser disks, a Viking longboat complete with triangular sails and much else.

Tammy-Tommy were together in the same type of meditative state that Sammy (SamWaSam) was. Graham Maharg utilized one of the Silver Artifizer Cubes given to Tommy by the LittleFatFamily and then another. They activated and once began to link and merge the TransBaseCube structures of Tomkins' Bunker (the True Illuminati Complex), Robertville and Cobber Paddy. Then Graham Maharg activated the third Silver Artifizer Cube. What was being created, with the assistance of Graham Maharg and a large team, was the foundation of a TransCubeShip. Paddy Jackson assisted as did UnityLords who arrived to do so and others. Walter Bishop was in a paradise of gaining amazing new knowledge and being part of a great project.

Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins reached Robertville with the large group of UnityWays WayClans unityfolk who could only spend up to around eight months away from the Reflective Great Labyrinth before they began to suffer. Graham Maharg came forth to meet them, as did UnityLords and others, and a series of important meetings began. A new alliance began to form.

Alan Pale went to be with Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy, with Graham Maharg and others. With him went his mortal family and his followers, including his special materialized followers.

The ANZAC Androids joined Marshal Nelson's forces, taking equipment and supplies with them. Marshal Nelson began a series of operations to seek out UtopianLord and other threats including infiltration teams. The shaperzae and shapenoids also joined in these efforts.

Sebastian Tomkins remained in the ST-TransCube that the Observer had placed him into and he was also in an exotic meditative state.

Bobby Tomkins continued in the exotic meditative state in the BT-TransCube. The Fringe people, and the Leathernecks, with the assistance of some androids, kept looking for where the Leatherneck hostages were being held in the TransBaseCubes transformed complex. They found some vital clues indicating an area of bunkers that the Leathernecks had not even suspected had existed and yet the discovery was no real surprise given what had been happening. They found more valuable resources even as the android women all moved their base of operations into the BT-TransCube.

When it was declared that the UtopianLords were now to be called the GreyLords, the fear of many was realized that many UtopianLords had linked in a dreadful union with the Greynari, an exotic undead people of bizarre and deadly nature. The Greynari worshiped the Great Undeath in a fashion that was also considered bizarre and dangerous. Then came the bad news that the UndeathLords had joined also with this same alliance and had done so also with a strange FactionLord Faction known as the NecroLords. All them had turned against the TwistedGod and its followers.

The UtopianLord Faction ceased to exist as other UtopianLords became either UnityLords or FactionlessLords. All of them began to fight against the dreaded new Undeath Alliance.

War continued to rage across AlternateEarths and yet was focused only in some areas, leaving many areas surprisingly peaceful. Both sides continued to suffer shortages of many kinds of resources and this limited where they could fight, how much they could. Other factors also influenced this.

Professor Chronos, and his people, kept on assisting Unity and the British people against the zombie plague. New threats began to rise on that world but also new solutions for the threat and new alliances against it. Unity was slowly, with some trouble, rising around that world amongst humanity.

0105: Of an Observer and Others

It was the AlternateEarth of the 1950s, soon enough to become the 1960s as the decade came to an end.

The Observer stood on the deck of a heaving ocean liner and did so with rock solid steadiness as the storm whipped up the ocean. The ship was full of refugees and, like others, was taking people from Continental Europe, from the French Coast, to England of Great Britain. The big convoy was having some difficulty thanks to the off seasonal stormy weather. In the distance, in the stormy grayness, a big battleship fired off a volley of big turret cannons. The big flashes of the guns going off had to contend with the flashes of lightening. What were they firing on? They were shooting at the gathering of strange enemy forces on the French Coast while trying to give extra time for ships full of refugees, soldiers and resources to escape.

When sailors struggled past the Observer, who they noticed but did not notice in his black business suit, he would touch each lightly. Suddenly they would feel stronger, fitter, healthier and have more hope. They began to cope better with the storm and the growing despair that seemed to be increasingly to effect people for the worse.

Amongst the warships striking at the enemy were French, German and other continental vessels. A German battlecruiser fired off its own cannons. A barrage of rockets fired from a big French vessel, a rebuilt old battleship made to fire off batteries of such rockets.

With out UnityLord assistance the bombardments would have been useless but new technologies assisted to aim the attacks and to better stabilize all of the ships, including the fleeing civilian ones. No aircraft could go up in the storm, not even the new helicopters.

The gray robed figure halted beside the Observer and was just as steady on her feet. The smooth skinned woman had albino white skin and pale white eyes. She held a dull silvery metallic quarterstaff that was far more than just a staff. “The arising of Unities amongst humanity, and other peoples, of the MultipleEarth has given new hope where there seemed to be none. The Omniverse, of Unities of Unities, has had new, urgent debates on the manner. The Great Erasure Program has been delayed. Others, such of Rimwards and NonUnity Progressives, have demanded that the Great Erasure Program be instigated anyway. The Lords and Ladies of the Light have requested patience and have pointed out that the MultipleEarth Barriers hold strongly, as does the MultipleGuardian. “

The Observer smiled. “An excellent series of hopeful events but the True Eternals are still wary of what has been occurring and the players who have been taking part in these events. The OmniObserver continues to be unable to penetrate, to observe, all as it used to. The LittleFatFamily continues to be overly secretive but so far has done nothing to suggest that it has gone against the Agreement. Graham Maharg has become involved and other True Eternals are becoming so.”

The woman nodded. Observers were Eternals but of a unique kind as linked to the OmniObserver itself either semi-independently or independently in a special way. The woman was not really a woman but was an Envoyer, an ever traveling envoy linked to the Omniversal CentroRadius, that being the Ominverse's version of a government.

The Envoyer responded. “The Great Undeath is up to something in the MultipleEarth but that is hardly new. What is new is that it appears that the Great Undeath and the TwistedGod may go to war against each other. As you know, that could cause massive death, destruction and disorder across many AlternateEarths but also many other worlds spanning out from the AlternateEarths.”

The Observer indicated the invisible French Coast, which was not so invisible to them. “As you can see, the Lesser Undeath has already arrived on this AlternateEarth in the form of the Greynari, or at least one Greynari Battlegroup. Yet they seem almost restrained in their actions and their use of their more advanced twisted technologies. Even the Greynari seem to recognize just how precarious the situation has become for the MultipleEarth and especially for them since they became imprisoned in the MultipleEarth Zone.”

The Greynari, like other peoples, had become isolated into the MultipleEarth as it had become a handy prison for dangerous entities of the Multiverse. The OmniObserver had warned against this, as had the Lords and Ladies of the Light, but for once the Omniversal CentroRadius had given into its fears and had failed to be wise. Now it was becoming painfully aware that it had briefly fallen under an amazingly cunning and subtle influence of an evil nature, of something that should have ceased to exist an amazingly long time ago. What was not known was why the isolating of these peoples had taken place.

The Envoyer vanished away and the Observer assisted more people before doing the same.

0106: Of an Observer and Others

The Observer walked across the vacuumous light gravity of the Moon of the AlternateEarth of the 1980s where the Great Sphere was still emerging in the center of Australia. She did so in a neat black, form fitting spacesuit complete with a transparent bubblehelmet. She carried a black briefcase and a multiple purpose device of the kind used by some moon workers of some AlternateEarths; or at least that was the appearance of things.

Selenites, TripleImperial forces and humans from the AlternateEarth of the turn of the 20th and 19th Centuries, had been battling each other. Human astronauts had been attacked but then had been taken to safety. There had been undead things also but they had also left.

The Great Labyrinth did go through the AlternateLunas, the Moons of the AlternateEarths, which was a fact surprisingly unknown by many of those AlternateEarths. The insect like selenites had escaped from another AlternateLuna, from the Great Labyrinth, only to face a new invasion in their new home; they were not happy. Yet they had come to a wary alliance with the Brotish humans. Damphirs had also arisen and 'friendly zombies' who had joined in that alliance. Not needing to breath, the undead were useful in vacuum though they did need protection from other elements of vacuum: the damphirs could survive on surprisingly little air, holding reserves for many hours and in other ways were more resistant to vacuum than were the undead.

She came to the broken moonbase, noted the flags still stuck into the ground, the moonlanders that were both two way and one way only and other remainders of the human presence that had been there. Glimmering green fogs had moved across the Lunar Surface and inside them had been lesser undead of zombies, zombers, semivampires, subvampires, superzombies and vampires. Then they had vanished away when all the UndeathLords had gone to the Great Sphere at the bidding of the TwistedGod. Question was, how did they manage to do so?

It was a question that did not seem to be asked enough by enough people.

The swirling effect looked like a small whirlwind of air except, of course, there was no air there. It darted across the moonbase and an overturned moonlander rose up and flipped neatly back into place, all damage being fixed with a soft sparkling shimmer. The Observer quietly observed the Retirweth, or at least one aspect of it. Even the OmniObserver, the Observers, found it most difficult to try to understand the Retirweth, its nature, its behavior, its reason for existence if it could be said to have one. On and on it fixed up the moonbase but then began to create perfect duplicates of moonlanders, moonrover vehicles, basic remoterobots, sentry-guns and much else. Most of all it duplicated, and in larger numbers, metallic canisters full of supplies such as ammo, food rations, medical kits, spare rechargeable battery-packs and much else including water and air.

The Retirweth vanished away even as a big spaceship came out of the sky, if Luna could be said to have such a thing, and began to land. It was a large human designed and built vessel that had been upgraded and augmented with the assistance of the UnityLords. It was the ??? and it had been first made to be part of a human campaign, of the local AlternateEarth, to be launched at the moon.

The big ship could have remained up in Lunar Orbit but the decision had been made that it was better to land the whole ship, unload resources as quickly as possible, along with people, and then to return to Earth Orbit.

Humans, led by a UnityLord and some UnityOnes, came out onto the Lunar Surface and the Observer 'sensed' the astonishment as they studied the rejuvenated moonbase with its many duplicated extras. Was Retirweth trying to help these people were were all either of Unity or of the UnityLord Faction?

The ever pragmatic FactionLords were used to doing with the inexplicable and the UnityLords were very soon having the expedition taking advantage of the changes to the once damaged moonbase. Figures in moon power armor, designed for the low gravity, were soon busy moving things around or starting to dig down into the surface with various clever devices including special drills, cutters and even lasers.

The Observer had no chance of tracking the Retirweth for even the OmniObserver itself could not do such. Yet it staid to observe as a new moonbase was constructed, being mostly underground, and much was moved there from the surface; this included moonlanders.

Why had the Retirweth done what it had done to the moonbase?

0107: Of Tammy-Tommy, Bobby, Sammy (SamWaSam), Sebastian Tomkins, the LittleFatFamily and Others

The Tomkins appeared again on their ancient Home AlternateEarth but this time in a great university plaza of massive rock flagstone and huge statues of famous sages, scientists and others. People were moving around but the great plaza was now some kind of great outdoors markets. There were electric machines, automatic guns and even electronics but it was clear that the technological level was nowhere near what it had been, was primitive compared to that.

The were humans but also many other kinds of people such as elves, gnomes, Martian tripocs, insect like selenites, silicon based breings and many others. Some were human variants with wings or gills or other notable changes. The place was thick with Unity and all there were of Unity though not all of the same form of Unity.

Tommy sighed. “So people did survive on the Home AlternateEarth but I 'sense' no False Eternals or FactionLords or even traces of any.”

The LittleFatWoman spoke from where she stood, giving small candies to some local children. “All False Eternals and FactionLords were ejected from the Home AlternateEarth, just as you were, but we do not know what did this. It was a powerful but subtle force that has also stopped any of the ejected ones from returning, including yourselves. That is until now. It did the same to we, the LittleFatFamily. Now we also can return. We have been given a series of tasks that we can do if we wish to and, if we do them, we will gain new resources of amazing nature.”

She turned to Tommy. “After you were captured and twisted by the TwistedGod, what did you do?”

Tommy shrugged as he looked around at the very bright and colorful markets. He noted many of the women were bare breasted but that many had elaborate tattoos or body-paint patterns. “I do not remember much that I did except that I took rejuvenation sleep for some years in the TT-TransCube, as did Tammy. When I awoke, Tammy was gone! I searched for her but could not find her. Then I visited some of the Terraformed AlternateEarths that had been devastated by the Great Sphere and fixed up by the LifeProclamation Entities. What puzzled me was that I found plenty of wildlife, flora and fauna, on those worlds but no humans or other such peoples.”

The LittleFatWoman nodded. “The LifeProclamation Coalition has turned to to be most reluctant to carry out one of its primary promises to give over some of the Terraformed AlternateEarths to UnityHumanity or other forms of unityfolk. They keep speaking of necessary delays but the Omniversal CentroRadius is growing impatient with them, which is saying a great deal. The OmniObserver has been focused on the activity and influence sphere of the Great Sphere but now it is also becoming more drawn to what the LifeProclamation Entities have been up to. There are three HavenEarths with unityfolk on them, including humans, but there should have been many more by now considering that there are now over three hundred and thirty Terraformed AlternateEarths. The problem is that the MultipleEarth is sealed off from the rest of the general Multiverse for good reason by the MultipleEarth Quarantine Barriers and the MultipleGuardian. None can cross those boundaries, can be allowed to pass by the MultipleGuardian, with out excellent reason thanks to the MultipleEarth Quarantine Accord.”

Tommy frowned softly. “I remember that LifeProclamation Watchers did not like me visiting the Terraformed AlternateEarths, that they kept me under tight observation but that I managed to do something on each AlternateEarth that I visited that they did not know of. I dropped tiny spheres onto the ground and pushed them into the earth. I did this on fifteen AlternateEarths being the most recently Terraformed ones.”

At that moment a great saucership passed high through the sky overhead. People looked up, frowned, but then went back to their daily affairs. It was a LifeProclamation Coalition Skyship built for atmospheres of various kinds, including water, and for intersystem space work. It was multiple purpose but had much armor, other defenses and weapons.

Tammy frowned. “What are they doing here? Are they supposed to be here hovering about our Home AlternateEarth?”

The LittleFatWoman shook her head. “Not strictly speak for it was not part of their working mandate, not part of the LifeProclamation Coda and the actual LifeProclamation itself, the agreement that supposedly gives the LifeProclamation legitimate existence. Still, the LifeProclamation Entities were not told they could not come to this world.”

Sebastian snorted. “This smells of ratcoy cunning! I should know!”

The LittleFatWoman sighed. “I do agree with you, this time, Sebastian. This does smell of a ratcoy cunning!” She explained to the others. “Ratcoys are powerful super-predators of impressive cunning based intelligence who, thankfully, only exist on three AlternateEarths of the MultipleEarth. Only when they went up against wild humans did they lose out. Sebastian went tomb robbing on one of the AlternateEarths infested with ratcoys. He got on quite well with them.”

Apart from Sebastian, and the LittleFatWoman, the others laughed. Sebastian frowned and snorted. The LittleFatWoman sighed.

0108: Of Tammy-Tommy, Bobby, Sammy (SamWaSam), Sebastian Tomkins, the LittleFatFamily and Others

Tommy frowned softly. “There were triplets that came to the town of Robertville with Professor Quatermass and some others. I forgot about them, about Professor Quatermass, about Stella Ketchen, about others. I do not even know where they went.”

The LittleFatWoman smiled as she watched the LifeProclamation Coalition Skyship drift upwards out of the atmosphere, getting smaller and smaller. “Did you really just forget or did you make yourself forget something that you did with them?”

Tommy frowned even more. “I hope nothing dark....” Then he looked relieved. “I put them safely into special status-capsules inside the TT-TransCube. I did the same with others also but why? Yes because there was something special about them. Deep inside I knew that the TwistedGod was influencing me, was using me as some kind of spy. I knew that the TwistedGod wanted something from them, especially from the triplets, something that is inside them, that is part of them.”

The LittleFatWoman looked surprised. “That skyship was trying to land but something stopped it and then pushed it away from the world. A great big powerful skyship and it did not have a chance of getting any closer to the surface of this world than it did. Something is protecting this world from the LifeProclamation Coalition, perhaps the same thing that ejected the False Eternals and the FactionLords, along with others such as the Aeiou.”

She turned to Tommy. “You did the best you could under the circumstances and then you were focusing heavily on the TransCubeShip Project. Deep inside you knew that this was one way of really protecting those, and others, you had hidden away in heavily secured status-capsules.”

Tommy frowned. “I do not remember doing anything special, exotic, growing up in Jack's Hill with the survivalists but perhaps something will come to me later.”

The LittleFatWoman turned to Tammy. “What did you do?”

“I went to fifteen Terraformed AlternateEarths but not the same ones that Tommy went to. I also planted tiny, exotic capsules on each one. The LifeProclamation Watchers did not like me visiting those world and pressured me to leave the last one that I was on. Yet I knew my mission was done.” She shrugged. “It was as if my instructions knew just how many Terraformed AlternateEarths that the LifeProclamation Watchers would tolerate me going to.”

She shrugged. “When I was nine years old, living in the Australian city of Adelaide of the AlternateEarth that I grew up on, when tension was rising between political forces with big strikes and even some skirmishes, I went out at night and did some odd things. Some odd, terrible things. I killed some necromancers, mage-priests, with some kind of gas that had no effect on me. They were experimenting with freshly dead corpses of people they had killed in a special way as to leave the bodies as intact as possible. The gas had no effect on me. It was in a big underground bunker complex, a left over from World War Two. At other times I delivered bundles of cash to various political groups preparing to start fighting in what was to become the Australian Civil War; it was always lots of money for the most extreme of groups. When I reached eleven years of age I had urges to do more such things but would not do so and then the urges faded away.”

The LittleFatWoman looked thoughtful. “The TwistedGod was having you do some of its dirty work but was also spying on humans through you. Yet already you were throwing its influence off and I suspected that influence had been greatly weakened by then.” She turned to Bobby.

Bobby frowned. “”I also went to fifteen Terraformed AlternateEarths and planted the same sort of small spheres. That makes forty-five Terraformed AlternateEarths. Apart from that I grew up, again, on a late 19th Century AlternateEarth that was invaded by Martians in great big tripods, smaller tripods, in strange flying machines and other things. Tripocs, they were, but not totally like those around us in these markets. There was something far more savage, bigger, more powerful with the ones that invaded that AlternateEarth.”

Then he scowled. “I took small, gray-black capsules around to the dead Martians, the ones outside in the open. I am not even sure how I reached them. Yes, in the BT-TransCube. Did I help spread the zombie infestation that later broke out on that world?”

“I doubt that! What you did, I think, was to enable the TwistedGod to have a better idea of what was going on that world with the zombie infestation.” The LittleFatWoman spoke. “I 'sense' that you have nothing more to add for now.” She turned to Sebastian. “Now for your attempted betrayal: what do you have to say for yourself?”

Sebastian went pale. “I was just playing with the TwistedGod, that's all, just playing games with it. I would never have betrayed anybody, truly, especially the wonder Tomkins Family. You can trust me, really you can.”

The LittleFatWoman sighed. “No, no we can not.” She pointed the fingers of her left hand at Sebastian and from them spat a golden white pulse of energy. Sebastian cried out as he sparkle shimmered and then he vanished. “Sebastian will be tested by the Lords and Ladies of the Light. He is but the first of many who will end up going through this process and there is a good chance that will include all of us but not now. It is time to wake, my children.”

0109: Of Sammy Tomkins, SamWaSam and Others

SamWaSam (Sammy Tomkins) made a very special decision and thus it was that SamWaSam became a new, separate individual from Sammy Tomkins but linked to him. Thus SamWaSam was created and Sammy Tomkins arose. SamWaSam was adopted as a younger brother to Sammy Tomkins, became part of the Tomkins Family automatically. SamWaSam was then free to go and investigate certain matters brought up while with the other Tomkins and the LittleFatWoman. Sammy Tomkins was thus free to carry out tasks better suited to his real nature.

The wars, of the AlternateEarths, ended when the GreyLords (former UtopianLords) withdrew from plans to conquer worlds. The TripleEmpire ceased fighting to take over a world. Then the DystopianLords did the same. The GreyLords no longer had the same desires, or plans, as they had done as UtopianLords. The TripleLords realized they were not winning but only taking part in a costly stalemate. The DystopianLords fled from a world they had assumed safe from the Great Sphere for what seemed like very good reasons. But these AlternateEarths were all left in a mess.

Thus began a period of relative peace with Unity still rising on various AlternateEarths. This caused some conflict, some AntiUnity backlashes, some odd social happenings and the rise of new social, political and spiritual institutions. Unity tended to take over some regions while leaving other regions to the control of NonUnity humans.

SamWaSam (Sammy Tomkins) returned to full aware in the AncientLordly part of the HarmonyUndercity to find that a large force of HarmonyGuardians and HarmonyGuards had arrived there in search of him. The force was led by a HarmonySublord of the HarmonyLife Faction who were becoming of Unity as FactionLords tended to do so.

SamWaSam was now considered of highest rank amongst the HarmonyGuardians, was titled Star Marshal to reflect his special status. He found that SihiSihiLo had become fully of Unity, had come to cease to fear it and to accept it as a semiautonomous individual. She had come to accept that while Unity was far from perfect that it was meant for her if not for all humans.

HarmonyCity was going through a period of social and political turmoil even as the status of humans, semihumans, subhumans and others changed for the better. Unity was rising amongst them but causing many kinds of reactions, some of them hostile. Not all humans welcomed the changes because it put more stress on them to get more involved with their world, to be more responsible for what was going on.

SamWaSam noted that the HarmonyGuardians, the ones he had saved, and those that who had pretended to be them, were now serving as comrades. This was pleasing as was the fact that the fighting had ceased as all forces withdrew to lick their wounds, to build up strength and to sort out just who, what, was fighting who, what. The danger was far from over but there would be a long relative peace to come.

The realization that there was an AncientLordly TransCity, as the basis of the Great Sphere, changed a great deal in the way of understanding the real nature of the Great Sphere. It also had a great influence on any plans of all factions.

Sammy Tomkins would focus on investigating the Great Sphere TransCity, which was not part of HarmonyCity, which was much bigger inside than out and which had many transdimensional zones making it even larger.

The peoples of the TransCity, who only inhabited a relatively tiny part of the TransCity, numbered over a billion but nobody seemed to know just how much over a billion. Many of these people were relatively big breeding, short lived ones who relied on large populations of their kind in their own forms of Unity. One was the gnomefolk, relatively peaceful, and another were the goblinfolk, relatively aggressive, but there were others. Many of these peoples had started living in the TransCity a very very long time before it became part of the Great Sphere.

Sammy Tomkins hoped to find knowledge in the TransCity that would clear up the mysteries of the past and help deal with the problems of the present. His work would start out much more quietly and basically than would the tasks of SamWaSam.

0110: Of Tammy-Tommy Tomkins, Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins, Alan Pale, Graham Maharg, Paddy Jackson and Others

Tammy-Tommy awoke to meet the their cousins, Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins, who were sisters of Sebastian Tomkins. The meeting was a warm hearted one for they had been sundered from one another a long time ago, had been seeking each other since then. They had always gotten on well together. They had much knowledge to exchange so they made meld-contact with each other.

Graham Maharg, the True Eternal, was friendly with the Tomkins but, though friendly, they were wary of him. True Eternals were of often mysterious motives and nature. Though they were willing to share much, there always seemed to be much more that they were not willing to be open about.

Alan Pale had created a huge flush toilet, thought it most amusing, made of a brassy plastic like material of great strength and durability that was also self repairing. His mother was bemused and amused. She stood looking at the great structure, that was at the edge of a big newish cubechamber, with a light smile on her face. Around them were the exotic followers, spread out and carrying out various tasks from training to sleeping or recharging, depending on their natures. Alan Pale's father was off working as a journalist for the new newspaper based in Robertville. His sister was in a huff after failing miserably to seduce one of the young, handsome looking exotic followers.

When Buffy Tomkins came into the chamber, Alan Pale studied her with amazement and then he gulped, having just gained a big crush on her. His mother, and sister, both shook their heads just a little for this sort of thing had happened before. Alan Pale would soon be besotted with all three of the triplets as he was with Tammy Tomkins.

Buffy looked up at the great big flush toilet, complete with cistern, and smiled. “Very interesting piece of artwork. What is it supposed to represent?”

“Being flushed away to a new destiny!” Alan Pale smirked a little. “I am going to make proper sized ones in small bathroom chambers for everybody to use. There will be a shower-bath, a toilet, a sink with taps and some extra stuff I haven't decided on yet. The LittleFatOne showed me how to make things of brass-plastic.”

Buffy was obviously thoughtful. “Alan, you could add special UV lights into the bathroom and make the shower-baths special in other ways. The special bathrooms could be used to decontaminate people, to fix them up in other ways. When did you meet the LittleFatOne and where?”

Alan frowned softly. “Is something bad coming?”

“The special bathrooms would be precautionary but, yes, we fear that something bad is coming. That is why we are trying to construct a TransCubeShip. That is why you have ended up with your special followers who are very good at dealing with some kinds of exotic threats.” Buffy smiled at Alan. “About the LittleFatOne.”

Alan Pale shrugged. “He was all odd like distant friendly. I called him a he because he looked more like a man than a woman since he had no breasts. He did not mind though he said in truth he was more of an 'it' than a he or a she. He came to me about a year ago but I kind of forgot about the meeting. He said this would happen and it was nothing to worry about. He said I need to tell you my name as a False Eternal but that you might not be too pleased to hear it. I was Dovana Omegusa, once of the Omegusa Family but estranged from them during the chaos of the Home AlternateEarth and transformed into a False Eternal, an exotic kind of artifact-entity. Except Dovana has long changed from what Dovana used to be, as met willingly with the LittleFatFamily and even served them more than once. He has called himself Dovana Roamer for a very very long time but he is constantly on the move. For a very very long time he has been seeking to find out what happened to the Omegusa Family, and their followers, their puppets, but has only found a series of clues, some stronger than others and some of them most strange. Somehow the Omegusa Family have been involved in recent events but not directly, at least I do not think so. I could easily be wrong.”

Buffy nodded. “I 'sense' that you have changed greatly, just as many of us have over the many centuries of our existence. We need to know what you have learned about the Omegusa Family. We found no such clues but our main focus has been on dealing with the TwistedGod.”

Alan Pale spoke. “The DeathlessLords are secretly linked with the Omegusa Family, especially the Deathless Lord-Lady, the mysterious and elusive leaders of the DeathlessLords. The DeathlessLords have been secretly gathering certain items and information for a very long time. They send it all, secretly of course, to a location known as Saogeum that appears to be an artificial minimoon orbiting a lesser known AlternateEarth of the MultipleEarth. Saogeum is an anagram of Omegusa. Dovana Roamer tried to find Saogeum once but failed to do so even after a search that lasted three centuries and involved many others to assist him.”

He went on speaking. “The Omegusa Family is linked with the DeathlessLords who are linked with the Umbrella Corporation but they are also linked with the TripleLords and their TripleEmpire. The TripleLords may secretly be serving the Omegusa Family or be allied to them. They have also taken much and sent it to Saogeum but so have others. The TwistedGod may have gotten tired of the FactionLords as its followers partly because many of them were betraying him. The TwistedGod has gathered new forces, new resources, from some unknown source. Wheels within wheels and deception wrapped in deception.” Alan Pale yawned and then spoke again. “I am tired and need a nap. Why do you not stay and enjoy my big glorious tribute to hidden movements.” He grinned at his own joke.
