0119: Of SamWaSam and Others

SamWaSam led a large group into the chamber including UnityLords, UnitySublords, HarmonyGuards and HarmonyGuardians. To his surprise there were some HarmonyCustodians, a kind of specialist he had not even known existed before then. HarmonyCustodians took care of power-artifact and other items of special nature, often dangerous, inside special complexes. They had knowledge of what TransCubes had been put into their care and also of some that had been stolen from them. They were quick to identify this TransCube as being one of a dozen that had been taken from the one HarmonyCustodian Complex, along with other items.

There were other such stolen items inside the TransCube. Power-artifacts, and even some minor artifact-entities, were there. There were prototypes of strange technologies, dangerous inventions and exotic alien finds. All of the exotic alien finds had been found in HarmonyUndercity zones that, in theory, should not have existed. Some had proven to be so dangerous that they were sealed up and all knowledge of them had been sealed up also.

Data spoke of DisharmonyCity, DarkCity, GlimmerCity, of some places that only had codes to name them and something called GlowingCity, a place of glowing white mists full of altered lifeforms and elemental entities. Then there was the LinkingMaze that was said to be a vast transdimensional labyrinth, of crazy nature, that was a way to other realms, most unknown and only guessed at.

SamWaSam took the big data-orb and placed it into a docking station built for such, then he carefully did a number of security and safety scans on it before attempting to activate it. He was soon glad he did so for the data-orb had a fake, obvious hardware interface that was booby-trapped. He took the data-orb out and put it back into the docking station after turning it about and exposing the real hardware interface.

It took some careful working but he got past firmware and software security, booby-traps, got into the real firmware interface and then began to access the masses of data. Though much of it was known, gaps were filled in and new data emerged. The results were astonishing and disturbing.

The Great Sphere was not only linked with the Great Sanctuary and the 13of13, along with other amazing structures, they were actually the one and the same thing. The HarmonyLords had considered there to be another part of the Great Sphere that they did not know much about, a place where many humans and other folks dwelt peacefully in a world partly of white glowing mists. In truth this was the Great Sanctuary as observed from a different angle.

What then of DarkCity, GlowingCity and GlimmerCity? What of other places?

The huge amounts of data, in the data-orb, would take much time to study. Most of it was details of what SamWaSam had already learned. There was more to learn but it was not to be done in a hurry and better left to others. Sammy Tomkins would gain much more from studying the data than would SamWaSam (who used to be the same entity as Sammy Tomkins), SamWaSam would take the data-orb to Sammy Tomkins.

Next came the notebook and this had twenty pages with twenty symbols burned into it. SamWaSam had not been able to remember them upon seeing them the first time, they had somehow failed to be clear to him, but this time was very different. He saw them clearly and recognized them, even some that he had no clear memory of seeing before. For a time he studied them, memorizing not only the symbols but the way they were organized. Each was a strong clue to the location of something and the pattern of them was a further clue leading to something else.

First symbol was partly the logo of the place he was found wandering, alone, as a very small toddler, by HarmonyGovernment workers. Odd thing was he had not thought to even try to remember the place until then. It was a long abandoned, sealed up research development complex that also manufactured prototype devices for testing and further development. The logo was unusual, was not recognizable as any of the extensive list of them that he had memorized as a HarmonyGuardian.

Now he remembered that the complex had been a huge place of semidarkness with a few brighter patches, autovendors with some supplies and enough utilities to supply him until he was picked up. He had learned to use facilities like toilets, water dispensers and even basic roboremote units. The place of the logo would help him, hopefully, understand more of what the whole symbol meant. There was something there, if not more than one, that he had to find.

As for the MiniTransCube, it was soon proven to be far more than a standard MiniTransCube. Clearly it was something that Sammy Tomkins, not SamWaSam, needed to deal with.

0120: Of the OmniObserver and the Observed

The strange shimmering, trembling effects went through the Great Sphere, the 13of13, the Great Sanctuary, various AlternateEarths and other places. Yet none seemed to be able to explain them or, if they could, were not saying so.

The LittleFatFamily vanished, along with the TransWardrobe!

SamWaSam took the exotic MiniTransCube to Sammy Tomkins because new events convinced he that he should make sure that Sammy must get hold of it. Then he set out to find the secret complex as identified by the first symbol of the strange notebook.

Tammy-Tommy Tomkins began to transform from False Eternal to their true nature of the same EvaEternals, as semiautonomous to the whole. They became less focused on the TransCubeShip Project but others continued to do much work on it such as Graham Maharg, Walter Bishop, Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tompkins, Professor Quatermass and others.

The AltSliders, including the 'false' one, were freed from their special virtual reality prison. They were to take time to adjust to their new reality except for the imposter who met with Graham Maharg.

Alan Pale began a series of projects that many considered to be at least partly childish. A few people even questioned this apparent waste of resources.

Bobby Tomkins, with followers and allies, continued to try to get into Turtledove Detention Camp. New challenges arose that made the situation more difficult than previously hoped for.

Led by the Deathless Lord-Lady, the DeathlessLords broke away from any form of following the Great Undeath and vanished into the Great Labyrinth.

Field Marshal Rear Admiral, and his forces, fought hard against the enemies that had come from China, including some very exotic enemies. Field Marshal Rear Admiral had a few surprises, of his own, to throw at the enemy.

Professor Cosmos assisted GuardianLords, and Unity, against new kinds of undead threats emerging on that world. Damphirs, and friendly zombies, were also increasing in numbers. New things emerged that had not appeared on other AlternateEarths suffering from undead threats. Professor Cosmos first heard about the secret organization, Torchwood, and how it was helping to deal with the crisis.

On the TwistedEarth, the TwistedGod seemed bewildered, lying on its back and writhing with a strange mixture of ecstasy and torment.

A large LifeProclamation Coalition fleet of spaceships began approaching one of the HavenEarths. At once a smaller, but quite powerful, spaceship fleet launched from the HavenMoon of that HavenEarth and all Lunar and orbital defenses became fully activated.

0121: Of An Observer and Others

The Observer walked as a man in a black jumpsuit, moving through the depths of the misery and harshness that was DisharmonyCity. As he moved, he kept noting clumps of muties huddled in dark corners as packs of big dogs prowled the area. The dogs did not threaten the muties but had a wary alliance with them.

An electric tram shot along a street rail, armored and studded with big metallic spikes. The gun-turrets could have fired at the dogs, the muties, but the waste of ammo, or energy, would have gotten the misshapen gunners into trouble.

Why, how, had DisharmonyCity come to exist? It had not always existed! It had not existed for very long compared to the Great Sphere and HarmonyCity! The Observer sought more to solidify answers than to come up with them. DisharmonyCity seemed to exist because of hidden connections between the Great Sphere and other such great structures.

The DisharmonyLords stood in super power armor, with large weapons, and were with many DisharmonySublords, even more DisharmonyLordites and yet even more DisharmonyOnes. Despite this there was a strong sense of fear, of tension. They were examining something with great care, were understandably unhappy about what they had found.

DisharmonyTroopers were the brutal thug-soldiers of the DisharmonyArmy, were the counterpart to the HarmonyTroopers of the HarmonyArmy. Over a hundred of them lay scattered, slaughtered, and looted over a large area of the shadowy street. Something undead, monstrous, had come from DarkCity, had brutally slaughtered the power armored soldiers with brutal speed and efficiency. It had fed upon their life energies, blood and liquified flesh leaving only desiccated corpses behind. Holes had been burned through the power armor to reach the human soldiers.

Suddenly the two DisharmonyLords were giving orders. The small army was picking up the corpses, what remained of the power armor and other stuff, was dumping them onto electric roboremote trucks. This was done with great speed and then the lot were turning, were moving out of their very quickly.

It would not have escaped the notice of the DisharmonyLords that while their soldiers were attacked, destroyed, that no harm had come to local muties or the dogs. The muties and dogs did not even seem to be frightened. The attack had been aimed squarely at the DisharmonyTroopers.

The bold headed Observer spoke. “You can come out now.”

The Deathless Lord and Lady, once Danny-Donny Tomkins, came out of the shadow. They looked just like two young adults, overly pale of skin and eyes, hairless and in power armor with out the helmets. They were far more than that, were far more than the DeathlessLord Faction that they ruled, that had become devoted to them.

Danny Tomkins looked around and she spoke. “The thing that attacked here was not our servant, the attack was not of our doing. It was a TwistedDemigod that did this. The TwistedGod wishes to show the DisharmonyLords just how powerful it is, that it can reach them even here. The TwistedGod is foolish; all it has done has shame faced the DisharmonyLords and made them certain enemies.”

Donny Tomkins frowned. “We departed from any service we had to the Great Undeath. We did so in a hurry for its followers began to suspect the truth that we have been secretly spying for the LittleFatFamily for a long time and, we suspect, for the Omegusa Family whom the LittleFatFamily serve, though unwillingly. We have not been able to make contact with the LittleFatFamily.”

The Observer nodded. “They have been shaking of the final control that the Omegusa Family has on them. They are busy rescuing some folks that the Omegusa Family has held hostage and some very special artifacts. The LittleFatFamily has been making preparations for this moment for a very long time and many have assisted it, not always knowingly. Some of the vital information you provided them, from your spying, helped very much. You have both paid a terrible price for what you have done.”

Danny shrugged. “What is done, is done. The Great Undeath has become trapped partly in the MultipleEarth. It can not withdraw fully back to the Negative Multiverse. It can not come fully into the MultipleEarth. How, why, did this happen? It has something to do with the very existence of the TwistedGod and the creation of the Great Sphere, the repercussions from both. We need must find a way to free the Great Undeath and thrust it out of the MultipleEarth back into the Negative Multiverse. It also wishes to totally destroy the TwistedGod, the Great Sphere and the Omegusa Family along with a long list of others.”

The Observer frowned. “This is not good news and yet is no surprise to us. You, and all of your followers, must need go through a transformation into damphirs. This is the only practical way for you to escape the Great Hunger and any influences of the Great Undeath. You will be needed in future but for now we have a special place for you and your followers to go.”

Then he told them where to go, how to get to it, and they were very surprised.

0122: Of Field Marshal Rear Admiral and Others

Russian Soviet built battletanks were scattered across a broken landscape of groves of trees and abandoned farms. The last refugees had fled from the region many days ago. The commander was having second class soldiers harvest what they could of the crops, the orchards, even as the enemy loomed in the distance.

Explosions erupted in the distance as huge hulk-mecha, great hulking monsters of heavy armor and armaments, moved towards the defending forces. They had come from China but had they come from somewhere else before China?

A T80 main battletank exploded as a missile struck it. The majority of such warmachines were outgunned by the strange enemy walking machines but were in greater targets and were far harder targets to hit. In the distance a missile struck a hulk-mecha and it shuddered as part of it was badly damaged.

Field Marshal Rear Admiral stood in a bunker both heavily protected and well concealed. He looked out through a slit of armored transparency. He had deployed his own special weapons and in the distance, moving towards the hulk-mechas, were low flying hovergunships. Each was quite heavily armored and bristling with advanced weapons and other hitech trickery. Even as they approached the great stomping metallic monsters, they fired off heavy autocannons and missile batteries.

He had only a dozen of the hovergunships but defending soldiers had upgraded equipment, as much as possible, along with power armor for many. Upgrading was being done as quickly as possible to warmachines, other machines, weapons and other equipment. It was strange to think that the hovergunships and semimobile upgrading complexes had come out of a backpack that was far more than just a backpack. There were also manufacturing complexes now pumping out as many items as possible. There were recycling complexes taking in scavenged materials, broken down machines and anything else useful; these used amazing processes to create a wide range of useful products.

Why had the army appeared, who did it serve and what was it after?

Supersonic fighter jets shot overhead, unleashing missiles at the enemy. French built Mirages flew alongside American Phantoms, British Jaguars and other upgraded machines. Some of the jets fired off powerful electromagnetic pulse weapons to damage the great hulk-mechas.

Voice {They are after a vault full of power-artifacts and artifact-entities, all in status, hidden deep beneath the city of Moscow, actually beneath the Kremlin itself. No local humans have ever known they are there, as far as I know, for they were secretly placed there over fourteen thousand years ago by very advanced entities. I could not find out out more and had to do a lot of work to get that much. You should be happy that I am here to help you.}

The True Eternal smiled and did not have to respond directly.

Voice {Okay, okay, I am also in that place though not in status. Please assist me and I will love you for ever and be your most loyalest of followers.}

FMRA {You can not live for ever and I only live for ever because I am not alive in the same way that you are. Thank you for the information and now you can tell me the rest.}

Voice {No keeping back surprises from you, then! The power-artifacts, and artifact-entities, in theory should all be safely held in the 13of13, in one of their three great Archival Vault Complexes. One of those Archival Vault Complexes has had a large minority of valuable stuff stolen from it over many thousands of years. The Eternal Empress, herself, has discovered this but she is fearful now as she never has been. I talk to her fairly frequently. We play 3Dchess or even 4Dchess.}

FMRA {Those hulk-mechas are too obvious, too easily targeted, as if they are meant to attract attention. So where is the real attack coming from and what does it comprise of?}

Communist Chinese warmachines, much like those of the Soviet Russians, were moving in formations towards the defensive areas. Mines exploded. Machineguns rattled. Enemy infantry soldiers came in enhanced body-armor or, in fewer numbers, in clumsy power armor. Both sides used many of the same kinds of enhanced machines, weapons and even calibres. In the distance flew Hind gunship helicopters carrying troops and Cobra attack helicopters that the enemy did not use.

Unity was rising around the world and was not serving the enemy. There was something strange about the enemy soldiers, something disturbing, as if they had been profoundly changed somehow, as if they were no longer quite human or even natural.

Voice {The stolen stuff, and myself, are with other things in a TransBaseCube Cluster, fused together to make a rather disjointed complex. There are areas of the complex I have been unable to spy on. Sometimes I fear something very strange, powerful and dangerous is in there with me.}

FMRA {I was wrong! The hulk-mechas are not meant to distract me from another attack but from a secret enemy expedition that will be attempting to reach and breach the hidden complex that you speak of. Luckily, I have special assistance that I can call upon. She is Marshal Admiral!}

But the enemy did have some other big, nasty surprises to throw at Field Marshal Rear Admiral.

Again in the distance, began to appear black dots in the sky that must have been huge to be seen from that distance. The True Eternal frowned hard for he could 'see what they were'. They were great mutated cyborg-monsters or cyborg-megabeasts, flying slowly and clumsily through the air with great semirigid sacks of gas and great slow flapping wings. Each of the three was vaguely dragon like, vaguely metallic with obvious machine sections.

Field Marshal Rear Admiral grew grim for it was now that he had to take out the last, and most terrible, surprises from the backpack that was not a backpack.

0123: Of Tammy-Tommy Tomkins, Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins, Graham Maharg, Alan Pale, Paddy Jackson, Danny-Donny Tomkins and Others

The appearance of Danny-Donny Tomkins, the Deathless Lord and Lady, close to the emerging TransCubeShip, along with their many followers, did not please the other Tomkins. Yet they were convinced by Graham Maharg to give the infamous pair a chance to explain why they had done what they had done.

Danny Tomkins stood looking out of the Australian Outback. “We became what we did in order to spy on the Great Undeath, on other undead forces, and to learn what we could of what they are up to, what they plan to do and anything else we could learn. Now we would become damphirs except those of our followers, the shaperzae and shapenoids, who would remain basically themselves. We have done dark acts and we are willing to pay for that but we gained much valuable knowledge that we passed onto the LittleFatFamily. The LittleFatFamily asked us to get rid of that knowledge, once we had passed it on, even erasing it from our minds but we did not do that.”

It was semidark with a big storm coming in. The strange sensations continued to sweep through worlds and great structures. They were being called reality transformation events by many and they were getting both more frequent and stronger. Yet the change was gradual and they were still fairly weak and more subtle in influence.

Scant information, through Unity, had come that one of the three HavenEarths was being treacherously attacked by the LifeProclamation Coalition. The 'Voice' had confirmed the news. The LifeProclamation had themselves been taken by surprise for the people of that world had prepared for an attack, having long become highly suspect of the LifeProclamation Coalition. They had had assistance from mysterious others. A big space battle was being waged with longer range missiles, robotic drones, powerful energy weapons and other technologies. Nobody seemed to know why the LifeProclamation Coalition had started the attack.

Donny spoke. “The LittleFatFamily has vanished away to deal with what ever dark hold over them that the Omegusa Family has over them. It is trying to free hostages held to manipulate along with powerful artifacts, including artifact-entities, and other items. An OmniObserver Observer came to us and stated that we must become damphirs to escape the Great Hunger. We were advised to come here and to both tell you the truth and seek your assistance. After we have healed, have rested, from the process of becoming damphirs, we will seek to repent for what evil we have done.”

Graham Maharg smiled. “I am a True Eternal as linked to the OmniObserver, its Observers, though I am not of them. The process of becoming damphirs will not be greatly too painful for you. I have been setting up a special TransBaseCube for you to be processed in. Question is, will all of your FactionLord Followers do as you wish them?”

Donny responded this time. “Some more reluctantly so than others but yes all of them. Partly because we are their beloved and partly because they know that there is no other way to escape the Great Death's hold on them or eventual slavery by the TwistedGod even if they escape from the Great Undeath. The Great Undeath is competing with the TwistedGod to draw in all lesser undeathly forces, to enslave them, and it is difficult to know which is being more successful at it. In theory the Great Undeath is far larger, far older, far more powerful, but only part of it is in the MultipleEarth and is isolated from the rest. All of the TwistedGod is in the MultipleEarth and is deeper embedded here.”

Tammy Tomkins spoke, clearly getting warmer towards Danny and Donny. “That would explain the destruction of the UtopianLord Faction, the rise of more UndeathLords, the appearance of the NecroLords and much else.”

“That is only the 'tip of the iceberg'!” Danny spoke. “The spheres that Tammy, Tommy and Bobby all planted small capsules on fifteen Terraformed AlternateEarths, each, but so did we two also. So fifty-five Terraformed AlternateEarths were planted with them. We do not know what they are or why we planted them on the worlds that we did. We suspect that the TwistedGod had at least forty-five Terraformed AlternateEarths planted on and the Great Undeath has had at least thirty Terraformed AlternateEarths planted with the spheres. Each is quite rich with natural life, flora and fauna along with other lifeforms. The undead could feed well on so much living energies.”

It was not good news but was neither a real surprise. Big trouble was coming, if it had not already started to arrive.

More information was exchanged and then Graham Maharg activated the special TransBaseCube where the Deathless Lord and Lady, the DeathlessLords, would be transformed into damphirs. Graham Maharg would be busy overseeing the process for some time but in a compressed time field inside the special TransBaseCube. The only problem was that he could not be reached until the processing was finished. Inside the special TransBaseCube a whole year would pass but outside only about a month would do so. In a surprising short time all had vanished into the Special TransBaseCube and it was isolated off from the outside as the powerful time compression field was activated.

The many shapenoids, and shaperzae, that had come with the DeathlessLord Faction, they were soon busy serving the Tomkins and the TransCubeShip Project.

0124: Of Tammy-Tommy Tomkins, Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins, Graham Maharg, Alan Pale, Paddy Jackson, Danny-Donny Tomkins and Others

Tommy was fully EvaEternal in nature by then and was glad to be stronger of mind, body and spirit but was now painfully aware of all the dark things he had done though not knowingly or willingly. He also knew that he had been fighting the influence of the TwistedGod for a very long time and had slowly been winning against it, partly thanks to the secret assistance of the LittleFatFamily.

He had become aware that something very dangerous was hidden inside part of the TransCubeShip Project itself, something that he had helped to put there. At first he had been determined to deal with itself out of feelings of guilt but Tammy Tomkins soon made it clear that she would not let that happen.

Buffy-Muffy-Tuffy Tomkins ended up going to assist Marshal Nelson, who had become Field Marshal Nelson by then, deal with a large and powerful enemy force that had showed up moving from the direction of South Eastern Australia and the great island of Tasmania. Unity was struggling to upgrade its technologies, not just the military tech. It was also needing to find safe refuge for people flooding into the area. The Great Labyrinth was a possibility appealing to many but was itself a trap of sorts, as the WayClans unityfolk were only too willing to attest. Autodispensers were still sending forth a steady stream of equipment and supplies from a slowly, steadily, growing list that was still rather short and with some odd selections.

So far the twins had found no real traces of anything very evil or very powerful or very strange. They had gone through the more heavily inhabited and used parts of the basically completed TransCubeShip. That is the areas focused on the former Tomkins' Bunker, Robertville and Cobber Paddy. Those areas had kept the same names simply because of habit and growing traditions but officially had other terms for them.

Now they were moving into more isolated areas that the Artifizer Cubes of copper, and silver, that had been given to Tommy Tomkins by the LittleFatFamily. The Golden Artifizer Cube had yet to be activated and could not be so until the TransCubeShip had become further developed and stabilized, growing larger inside than outside with new transdimensional zones added.

“There is always a transdimensional shadow zone thrown by any type of TransCubes.” Tammy ran smoothly, speedily, past great big neatly stacked metallic sections that robotic units would later move into place and meld them there. Around them was a large unfinished area showing every sign of being so. A big roboremote unit stomped past on six thick double jointed legs. It was carrying prefabricated modular sections to be added into parts of the TransCubeShip.

Tommy ran with her, also effortlessly. “As long as the threat is here, we will have more difficulty finding safe places for the refugees flooding to here.”

The AlternateEarth of the 1960s, where World War Two had not taken place but a major invasion of undeath had, was suffering from new problems.

Unity was rising still but was fighting AntiUnity Forces in many places in a scattered war. The departure of the UtopianLords, and their forces, had left behind a mess and more shortages as the UtopianLords had stolen many valuable resources as they left. Unity had been working on its own network of teleport-points, for unityfolk who could use them, and larger teleport-gates that could also be used by many others. Many unityfolk had gained the ability to teleport between other unityfolk but the teleport-points acted like unityfolk in that sense. Unity would soon be teleporting, hopefully, people, other lifeforms, and items to the TransCubeShip from other parts of that world. UnityLords, and UnityEternals, were assisting in that and other Unity Projects on that and other worlds.

Tammy-Tommy Tomkins had been surprised to learn that at least two thirds of the world's population of human, along with many domestic animals and livestock, had gone from that world. Where had they gone? Even Unity could not totally answer the question. Unity had created, had opened, five AlternateGates in different parts of the world, had sent many people, animals and even plants through to an AlternateEarth that was untouched by the Great Sphere and which was uninhabited by humanity or anything like humanity. The problem was that the AlternateEarth was of fairly harsh world climatic conditions being much colder than that AlternateEarth. Yet Unity, with the help of others, was doing fairly well there. Three of the AlternateGates had been closed, and destroyed, because of growing threats around the world. What threats? The question seemed as easy to answer as the one about all of the missing people and animals.

The TwistedGod was focused on fighting to conquer the Great Sphere.

Who knew what the Great Undeath was truly up to?

Tammy-Tommy focused on the problem at hand.

0125: Of Tammy-Tommy Tomkins, Alan Pale and Others

Tommy and Tammy kept pacing through the great TransCubeShip, having used teleportation tricks to go instantly from place to place at times. They were in a dark area, in a fringe transdimensional zone created as a side product of the main creation process of new, more usable transdimensional zones. Such areas could be useful but also tricky. They had come across no activity, not even by roboremotes. The area was sealed off from the normal inhabitants. They had not even run into the kind of strange lifeforms, or quasilifeforms, that sometimes arose in such areas.

As EvaEternals they had decided that they would call themselves the EternalLords after all, making that the commonly known name of all EvaEternals; this was because they figured that it was best not to have widely known what kind of Eternals they truly were. As it was they were not sure what EvaEternals were. Graham Maharg had told them that they had to learn a few things for themselves before he gave them any more information on the subject; he simply was not allowed to do otherwise.

They had made the decision while resting, sitting on strange shaped bolt like protrusions from a metallic floor. The two had drunk water, eaten foodbars and then drunk some coffee. They still had some mortal needs, or so it seemed.

Now they moved onwards again. Then they stood in surprise. Ahead were brass-plastic looking lamp posts, each of British Victorian Era appearance, as if made of wrought iron, with four arms going out into the corners of a 'square formation' and each with a white globe on top that glowed quite brightly. The light posts ran along both walls of an archway dotted great hallway ahead.

Some brass-plastic humans, men and women, in lights sporting gear, were standing quietly around, each holding what looked like a brass-plastic sports ball of some kind. They only took fleeting notice of Tammy-Tommy and seemed more intent on being on the look out for something else.

A brass-plastic version of Alan Pale showed up, grinning, in some kind of exotic power armor complete with a thick transparent bubblehelmet. The fake Alan Pale spoke with a mild grin in his voice. “I am Secondary Alan Pale Number 551 or SAP1951. The Prime Alan Pale, oh may all of his pranks be wonderfully successful, sent me to meet you. Bad bad things lurk here or at least not too far away. A TwistedDemigod is amongst them but it has an enemy of its own; its enemy is our enemy also for it is a member of the Omegusa Family.”

Both Tammy and Tommy were shocked. They had secretly worked against the Omegusa Family, had very vague fleeting memories of them but there was one in the area.

Tammy frowned. “You speak as if this member of the Omegusa Family is dangerous.”

“Extremely dangerous, they all are though some are more extremely dangerous than others.” SAP1951 lead them down the archway dotted grand hallway past great wooden framed oil paintings except that the figures in the wooden paintings moved. There were monsters, great power armored soldiers, quasimedieval knights and much else. Their heads and eyes moved as they followed the movements of the three figures moving past them.

Tommy frowned. “Nice decorations.”

SAP1951 grinned. “More than decorations. From each of those 'paintings' can emerge a figure to fight enemies but not too many at once and they will last only as long as their energy charges last. After a while each 'painting' will regenerate a fresh figure. The brass-plastic sportgirls and sportboys are more dangerous than they seem; those sports balls are far more than they seem. Yet they do more than do damage or death but can fix and heal also. The Great Alan Pale, may all of his buttered toast fall butter side up, says that positivity must balance with negativity.”

The hallway ended in a vast domechamber. Tammy-Tommy Tomkins stared in wonder at full scale brass-plastic copies of the Eiffel Tower, the Big Ben clock tower, the Roman Colosseum, a big barn complete with vertical silo attached to one side, a lighthouse with attached building at the base and some other structures, most of them being more basic looking cubes with basic doors and windows. Many brass-plastic figures moved around, including many other SAPs, Roman Legionaries, Quasimedieval Knights, sportgirls, sportboys, infantry soldiers that looked to be World War Two British Tommies, fire-fighters and astronauts in spacesuits.

Alan Pale could be seen tromping around in an exotic power armor suit complete with a thick transparent bubblehelmet except neither he or his gear looked to be made of brass-plastic.

Tammy smiled. “You are cheeky, Alan Pale, to make yourself look like a brass-plastic replica but you were born in 1951. There might be a couple of hundred SAPs out there but not enough to reach the number of '1951'.”

The fake, but real, Alan Pale frowned. “Dang, I figured I could fool you for at least a while. The real looking copy of me is a superclone of me. There is only so much I can do to assist you against the TwistedDemigod and MarxiOmegusa, not to mention the Undeathly Beasts that stalk out there. The TwistedDemigod has TwistedLords, TwistedDemilords and TwistedOnes with him, the less powerful the more of them there being, as always. MarxiOmegusa has DeathLords, DeathDemilords and DeathOnes. There are at least a dozen Undeathly Beasts out there, each with a swarm of zombies, ghouls, zombers, vampires and so forth.”

He went on speaking even as he transformed to no longer look brass-plastic but fully like the superclone. “All my special projects are more than they appear to be on the surface. They are all linked into the TransCubeShip and enhance it, augment it, in various ways. See how the cube-buildings are all linked to each other and the bigger, more unusual structures either directly or through enclosed tubes. Things lived here, in this zone, before I came here and I saved them from the monstrous invaders that would have killed them or enslaved them. They are beautiful, as far as I am concerned, but perhaps not all would see them as I do.”

Tommy smiled. “We are very old, ourselves, Alan. We have observed and experienced much.”

Alan Pale sighed. “Then I will give you a glimpse of them in your minds.”

Tammy-Tommy gained such a glimpse and arched their eyebrows a little and then they smiled.

Tammy spoke. “Very nice! A bit squishy, a little stinky and lots of other interesting things but, yes, quite lovely, really.”

Alan Pale smiled. “You really are EvaEternals. Sorry I can not say more about that. I will show you more. This place can be your base of operations, a safe place for you to rest and recover, to send others who need sanctuary.”

0126: Of Tammy-Tommy Tomkins, Alan Pale and Others

“Why are the intruders here?” Tommy turned his head to look around as they walked past a great brass-plastic copy of a first generation American Space Shuttle, complete with tanks, on a great Saturn V rocket and that on a massive tracked platform. “MarxiOmegusa, the TwistedDemigod and those Undeathly Beasts, that is!”

“Along with all the dark things that came with them.” Tammy added. “How is that linked with Tommy having the inspiration, the drive, to start the TransCubeShip?”

Alan Pale shrugged. “I can only figure that the influence of the Omegusa Family on Tommy had become so weak that he did not actually do what they wanted him to do. I figure they wanted Tommy to build some kind of base for MarxiOmegusa to be able to sneak in, take over and use resources to set up some kind of forward base for Omegusa Forces to use in any big campaign involving the AlternateEarths. Instead you, Tommy, began the TransCubeShip Project; thus MarxiOmegusa has become isolated here, trapped, along with other powerful intruders. They all hate each other and seem incapable of forming any real alliance with each other.”

Tommy shook his head, just a little, and spoke. “Your idea is excellent but something is missing and that missing factor goes way way back to the chaotic events that created the Great Sphere. Something is hidden here, somewhere, in the transdimensional shadow zone of the TransCubeShip grand structure.”

Alan Pale shrugged. “I was busy in another aspect of the Multiverse when that all happened, in a zone of very differing natural laws. I was home!

So what was there, in the TransCubeShip Project apart from that which they had already identified?

Tammy was puzzled. “Where are your special followers, the Knights Templar, the Power Soldiers, the Slayer Mages, the Grand Triplets, the Guards Templar, the power-robots, the elemental entities?”

Alan Pale smiled. “They are out there, guarding this place, fighting the enemy when they have to do so. They are doing good work. I have brass-plastic units assisting them.”

A brass-plastic Robbie the Robot trundled past on its thick legs, holding a large brass-plastic crate with its manipulator arms.

They all saw the subtle flicker, flow, of energies swirl across the large area with amazing speed. The Retirweth was there and as it moved the brass-plastic turned into metallic substances, stronger and more self repairing. The structures melded into the TransCubeShip superstructure. Earthy areas appeared, complete with grass, bushes, trees and other flora. A round shaped lake appeared and streams flowing to it from some of the structures. Fauna appeared, visibly, as rabbits, small birds and other creatures, none of them very large.

Alan Pale smiled. “I hoped this would happen. Retirweth has been linked for my people ever and ever. Retirweth will sleep here, as only Retirweth does. It will dream, which is the same as sleeping to it, as only it dreams. Its dreams will flow with reality, are reality, will influence reality. Yet Retirweth is not alone here. Out there is Kcolbsertwir, the dark subconscious reflection of Retirweth. Even my people find it hard to truly comprehend Retirweth but Kcolbsertwir is even more obscure. Long ago we stopped trying to understand either and just accepted them. They began to come to us, to remain with us at times. Kcolbsertwir is not evil but if it is here then something very powerful, very dark is also here for Kcolbsertwir is attracted to such.”

A reality transformation shift took place.

Alan Pale smiled. “Retirweth is assisting with the TransCubeShip, is helping to make it truly amazing, truly powerful, truly capable of what it needs to do which is a very great deal.”

Alan Pale did not speak of what he meant by 'a very great deal' and the twins did not push him on the matter.

A great roar of agony, hatred, confusion and terror echoed through the chamber. Tammy-Tommy both were startled but Alan Pale was quite calm about it. He shook his head with a sad expression on his face. “Hopefully the TwistedGod will gain wisdom, awareness, compassion and even enlightenment but I fear it will not be happening very soon. The TwistedGod is being troubled by the reality transformation shifts that are effecting many worlds. Thus the TwistedDemigods are also being effected. The one here has become isolated from the TwistedGod and is even more vulnerable to such influences.”

Tommy responded. “It is time that we went seeking after the dark, powerful intruders into the TransCubeShip and see if they have some answers to what is going on.”

“Answers to what is going on?” Alan Pale smiled at the idea. “You may never find such a thing but you really do not need to. What you need to do is help the MultipleEarth, its life, survive as much as is possible.”

Tammy responded. “More knowledge might help to do that.”

“Knowing too much might also hinder such efforts.” Alan Pale responded to the response. “I need to be with the Retirweth for a while, to try to communicate with it on a level impossible to translate to you, at this moment, but which you understand when you have become once more fully what you really are.”

The twins had no meaningful answer to that.
