notluzn Posted June 8, 2018 Share Posted June 8, 2018 I haven't played FO4 in a while and when I came back, I updated the mods and noticed that a lot of the mods no longer function. Most that didn't were the ones that modded settlements. I deleted all files and I'm going to start from scratch with everything. Just wondering if updates for the game messed up mods? The only thing that would get completely broken when updating the game is the Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) and as a consequence all the mods that depend on it. Just make sure, when using F4SE that you have the version that matches the game version you are using. Other mods that are version specific would also no longer work. notluzn Posted June 8, 2018 Author Share Posted June 8, 2018 Maybe before I was playing the F4SE and forgot to launch that.. One mod that stopped working was the Sim Settlement addon.
