Entral298
When I reinstalled fallout 4 to my hdd, I went and reset my mod configs in the prefs folder and custom, but when I try to launch the bodyslide from the nmm tool it gives the error: failed to load setup.xrc file, I've reinstalled cbbe and bodyslide, and re scanned for fallout 4 in the nmm start up. Can someone help, i'm lost.
JimmyRJump
When having installed BodySlide, you should then open NMM and click the Supported Tools icon top of NMM's interface and navigate to where the BodySlide exe is. Depending on which version of Bodyslide you've installed, you should click either the regular exe or the x64.exe. Once that is established, you can now choose to start BodySlide from inside NMM by choosing it from the dropdown menu in Supported Tools. Just make sure that after installing BodySlide, the program is sitting inside the Data folder of the game (Data/Tools/BodySlide). By the way, I took the liberty to edit the title of the topic as it had an error in it ;)
Algabar
From the "Bodyslide" FAQ:https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25 Q5: Why do I get an error saying "Failed to find game install" or "Failed to load Setup.xrc file."?A: Run the official Steam launcher of the game at least once after installing it, so that BodySlide can find the installation registry. If that doesn't help, you can set up the game data path in the BodySlide settings manually yourself. Try downloading and installing the mod with all anti-virus software disabled. If you're using NMM, make sure you're using the latest files from GitHub. If all else fails, install and use BodySlide manually.
