BlueGunk
A lot of SE mods work fine out of hte box. We do not yet have SkyUI and MCM, so mods reliant on that may need to be put aside for a while. Don't forget you don't have a body in Skyrim apart from using the VR Mirror mod to see yourself. There is active work on Reddit for VR with people posting lists of mods. Just Google the topic. I've concentrated on texture mods to improve the blurry garbage the vanilla game starts out with. Close up textures are worth it - in VR they can look awesome. Distance stuff is not very important as it is so blurry.Otherwise I'm loaded up to 160 mods already!
Calamachus
The 2017 Skyrim and SMIM, plus aMidianborn and TCM, Immersive Armors. Improved College of Winterhold, Improved Closed Face Helms, Realistic Water Two, all good choices. I'm also using Hunterborn, Total Follower Overhaul and a variety of mods.Big ones that are not currently working are Frostfall and Ordinator. Anything that changes the number of perks in the skill tree doesn't work. I've heard there's a way to fix that but I couldn't get it to work. iNeed I haven't installed but I've heard does work. I just got the Vive Pro which gives me 2880 x 1600. I played it on the regular vive before I got the Pro. It was worth it for Skyrim alone. tomomi1922
Oh, so Skyrim VR is 100% first person game and we can never see ourselves? I mean, it makes sense, but ... Skyrim isn't built for 1st person only. I guess we don't even get to see what we wear. What about horse riding? Or Vampire Lord? (Vampire Lord doesnt allow 1st person in Skyrim). I guess mods like Flower Girl is useless (doesn't even offer 1st person view). Does it matter which VR headset we buy? Steam has summer sale now. I may buy something.
