Dante was in a firefight with some of the British Union soldiers, backing up his squad with sniper support. His spotter was a girl named Fayth, but she was new, this was her first battle. Dante had to spot for himself at times, but he didn't care. Gunfire was the only thing you could hear for miles, and explosions form jets dropping missiles.

"Procceed with plan Charlie, we need to take this position so Zealand can occupy it," the command said over the comms.

"Sector Alpha has gone dark. We need Sector Zulu to move into that area and see what happened," command said again. Dante ignored all of it.

"Got my eyes on a squad, 450 meters east," Fayth said. Dante turned his rifle to that direction an got a perfect view.

"Plan Charlie, take out two of them and let the nearby squads handle the rest," she said. Dante hated that plan, he always wanted the kills. But he agreed anyway and shot two of them down. Three friendly squads moved onto the hostile squad and shot the remaining sods down.

Artyom and his squad was doing a routine patrol around the base perimeters, Artyom himself didn't mind walking around for a couple of hours, but his comrades thought otherwise. Mostly complaining about the snow and the howling wind. "Shut up, the three of you," Artyom barked. After his outburst, the squad fell silent. The gear he had on was incredibly warm, but heavy. He carried most of the ammo with him, since the three privates couldn't be trusted with anything yet. His old squad mates were resting back at base, from a recent fight that they had, wounded all three of them. So Artyom was stuck with the privates for now.

As the snow crunched beneath their feet, the sounds of fire came from the distance. Artyom wasn't surprised, the British Union wanted this land, and bad. After hearing the roaring of the jets, he saw the explosions. "Tree cover, move silently comrades, don't fire until I give the order." Artyom said, as he ducked behind a couple trees off the road. The squad continued to walk through the trees, with each and every step he could hear the gunfire sounds closer and closer. When he saw the squads fighting, Artyom held up his hand, to stop the group. He could see the British Union soldiers, but couldn't see the others who were fighting them. "Wait it out," Artyom said quietly, but loud enough for them to hear.

An Apache helicopter flew in above Dante's head. It's gun spun up and grinded the ground, clearing what remained of the British squad. It stuck around for further orders. Dante readjusted his scope, looking over the fields ahead.

"We've got a blizzard rolling in, it'll mess with our comms and sight. We're pulling all aircraft out of there in 5 minutes, until then, all aircraft hold positions. Procceed with plan Delta," command said.

"Delta, great. Can't do anything now," Dante said.

"What's Delta?" Fayth asked.

"Hold positions until Omega, then we have to begin ambushes. Stuff like- wait a minute," Dante got a fix on something in the ahead fields. He adjusted his scope and put his finger on the trigger.

"Uhhh, what are you looking at?" Fayth asked.

"Nothing, probably the wind," Dante replied.

OOC: Forgot to explain what Fath looked like lol. Posting a bio in the OOC thread now.

OOC: Lol, it's alright.

Arytrom and his squad continued to wait, then a helicopter flew over the field of battle and tore the soldiers to shreds, the symbol on the helicopter was all to clear, The American Union. Artyom wasn't surprised, like he said before, everyone seems to want this land. The soldiers looted the dead British Union soldiers, and left, but Artyom knew better and waited a little bit longer, Artyom continued to wait until it was sure it was safe to exit from the cover of the bush. He brought his binoculars to his eyes and looked over the neighboring hills, looking for any sign of recons or spotters... or snipers. As he was finishing scanning the last hill, something caught his eye. A glare he was all to familiar of.

"I think there is a Sniper on the hill there, Isaak, grab your rifle, the rest of you get down, and stay down." Artyom ordered as he crouched down, concealing himself behind the bushes, as Isaak grabbed his VSS and looked through the scope.

"East hill, 500 meters, see the glare?" Artyom asked.

Isaak nodded and took aim, Artyom could feel his heart pounding, if he missed, they would have to make a run for it. Then it would be the game of who could outlast each-other. As he thought, he heard the shot from the VSS, and a puff of snow covered the glare.

"Unknown hit, wait for the snow to clear." Artyom said, heart still pounding.

OOC: Sorry, long day, VERY long day. I'll be free for the week though, so I'll get down to posting.

IC: Dante turned to the snow that clouded the hillside near him. He felt his heart skip a beat as he turned there.

"I have a positive on hostile gunfire, inform the Apache for me. Get over there and gun them down," Dante said through his mic.

"Copy that, standby," Command sent the word to the helicopter and the Apache turned to the field. It spun its guns and moved there, glassing every inch of the field.

OOC: Don't worry about it, I had to do some things today also.

IC: Artyom noticed Issak hit the wrong hill, and then he saw the Apache fly over head next to the field, he quickly dove next to a big tree and huddled against it.

"Get to cover!" Artyom yelled, as the rain of bullets started tearing up the dense bush. He already saw the two other privates didn't even stand a chance, and were dead. He had no idea where Issak was. However, his rifle was still ruffled up against the bush, and Artyom reached over and grabbed the rifle. Luckily the Apache was shooting at the other end of the bush, so he had a better shot at the pilot.

He emerge from the tree, and took quick aim at the pilot. He didn't have time to calculate the wind, but he had a guess on how many meters the Apache was, he adjusted the scope and took aim. He steadily calmed his heart rate and his breathing, and slowly squeezed the trigger. The bullet itself, from what Artyom saw, hit the pilot. The Apache started to lose control, losing altitude and spinning out of control. However, to his horror, the helicopter was crashing straight where Artyom was sitting.

He quickly ran through the bush, as the helicopter crashed through the first couple of trees, but soon was lodged between two larger trees. Artyom was out of breath, he had to be careful now, and try not reveal himself to the sniper. He slowly but surely made his way though the forest.

Dante and Fayth both rose to their feet and fled downhill, leaving position and jumping into cover. As they did, the snow began to pick up, so the blizzard was coming in. He has one chance.

"Plan Echo, all units, this is Sergeant Dante, I call for Plan Echo!" he said through his mic. Fuzz came through the mic, and eventually, it all shut down.

"Fayth, stay here, I'm going to see what kind of force is out there," Dante said.

"Alone?" she asked.

"I've faced worse, now stay here and wait until I get back," Dante replied. He ran for the fields, reloading his rifle and turning his holo sight on. He slid by a tree, looking over and scanning the area with his thermal module. He picked up a figure, and got closer to it, staying into cover. Fire blazed around him from the crash, and the heat felt good on Dante's face.

"Warlord!" he shouted. He had no call sign to confirm, but warlord was common, so everyone should know the countersign.

Artyom was going to use the blizzard to his advantage, and his knowing of the land. He dropped the VSS rifle and unslung his AK-74 assault rifle, and turned on his Mars sight. He knew the rock across the road is climbable and it could be used to scan the area. As the blizzard rolled in, he quickly ran across the road. Perfect. Now he needed to get to the rock. He hastily ran through the forest, finally arriving at the rock. He knew every grab and foothold... he thinks. He approached the end of the rock and slowly climbed up the rock. The blizzard covered most of the area, but he needed to make sure that the sniper didn't have a spotter also, which the sniper is probably using to scan the area for him.

He quickly got off the rocked and headed toward the hillside.

Dante had heard nothing, so he moved foward, ready to shoot at anything. He pulled his bolt back, taking the bullet form the last mag out and pulling it forward. He tried his comms, but all he got was fuzz. He cursed under his breath and turned his mic off. He found a body, burned and squashed, but the uniform was partially intact. He looked at the shoulder emblem. Communist Union. He took the tags from the body and put them around his neck. Just another trophy of war. He then ran for the hill again, seeing nothing.

Fayth was back on the top of the hill, her rifle on it's bipod and her scope scanning the area. The blizzard was blocking most of her view, so to make sure no on was close, she listened in for footsteps. She flipped her rifle around, checking if the mag was secure. It was, but looked slightly out of place. It still could shoot, but she didn't mess with it.

Artyom, now nearing the hillside, took more caution, and moved more slowly. The snow was still crunching against his feet, which was now his disadvantage. As he approached the hill, he crouched and he used his heel to walk, to make the snow crunch sound mush less loud, but still there. As he neared the top, he got on his stomach, to silence the crunch of the snow all together.

Artyom was at the top now, at first he couldn't see anyone, but then he noticed a very faint shape of a barrel, out-looking to the field. As quiet as he could, he got up and approached the shape. The closer he got, the more he could make out the body of the spotter. He pullet out his combat knife. Now above the body, with full force, drove the knife into the upper-torso area...
