Conquest

Dante turned his snowmobile to the path Artyom had just taken. He followed Artyom into the path, driving past trees to stay alive.

Artyom quickly weaved through the trail with ease, the bullets were still flying towards them... the trajectory of where the bullets were landing seemed odd. Artyom quickly realized why, "They have a helicopter of some sort, look at how the bullets land!" Artyom said, as he just barley dodged a fallen log.

Dante looked at the bullet drop. They were, without a doubt, fired from a helicopter. He looked behind him to see an outline of something, as if it were... well.... invisible. He swerved left to avoid a barrage of bullets going after him, and used his rifle to shoot at the outline. As the bullet hit, it bounced off what seemed like nothing.

 

"Someone tell me that they don't have an invisible helicopter!" Dante shouted, swerving right between two trees.

Artyom looked above, and pulled out his pistol and fired a couple shots, bouncing off almost thin air. "Hate to tell you, but they do!" Artyom said, as he swerved to avoid more barrage of bullets. They needed to lose them, and fast. The only thing that he could think of is the next trail, much more dangerous then the one they were on now.

 

"I think I know how to lose them, follow me again, but be much more cautious." Artyom said, as he left the trail and immediately swerved into another.

Dante felt a slight vibe at a bullet slammed into his snowmobile. He slammed the stick left and swerved left before the helicopter took him out. He then swerved onto the path that Artyom was taking, keeping himself hidden by going behind trees and plants.

Artyom held his hand up to slow Dante down, his plan in a one and a million, but it was better then running as far as they could before they ran out of gas. He got off the snowmobile and looked past the trees, he couldn't see the helicopter but he wasn't taking the chance.

 

"I know they have thermal, but I have an idea." Artyom said, as he started to dig a hole in the ground.

OOC: Sorry for not posting.

 

IC: Dante slowed his snowmobile and hopped off, kneeling down.

 

"Seriously? How will this help us?" he asked.

"The trees have to be blocking the view of the helicopter, due to the fact that this trail is much more dense then the other one, as in they can't see us right now. They will probably send in a ground team to investigate why we haven't left yet. Then, we can take out the team and call the helicopter off. However, we have to conceal ourselves first," Artyom said, still digging into the ground.

 

"The hole I'm making right now is an old Spetsnaz trick that we used in World War 3, we dig about a foot and a half under the snow, and conceal ourselves with whatever is laying about. In our case which would be more snow and branches." Artyom added, as he finished his hole.
