My mothers fallout 4 keeps crashing.

I recently built my mother a pc so she doesnt have to suffer the ps4 jet engine anymore.

 

Specs.

cpu: r5 2400g

mobo: asus prime b350 plus

ram: 2x4gb gskill ripjaws V @3000mhz

storage; samsung 850 evo 256gb ssd and a 2tb hdd

psu: corsair rm650i

 

She plays at 1280x720p

The crashes occur very often at loading screens where the screen stays black forever until we close and restart the game.

It also crashes randomly multiple times per day.

Could it be that she doesnt have enough ram?

Or could it be the GPU?

Every bit of help is greatly appreciated.

The system itself is okay. But with 8GB of RAM, it depends on how much the GPU has. Playing in 1280x720 needs far less RAM than in 1920x1080, but still, if the GPU can't handle the game, you're in trouble.

The integrated vega 11 gpu from the apu.

Since the system only has 8gb of ram, half of it gets taken by the igpu i think. So i am contemplating either upgrading to a better gpu or doúbling the ram, but i thing option 1 is better.

Something beefy, preferably with 8GB of V-RAM. The power supply is good enough to support a Vega64/1080ti, no problems there.
