ThranduilElvenKind
Bit of an odd one here. I'm needing to make my SE meshes work with Oldrim. Currently when I load them into Oldrim I get this odd red arrow in place of the mesh.
thumbincubation
I'm not sure if/how that can be done. I can only guess that, since converting from oldrim to SSE involves triangulating strips, maybe try stripifying them in nifskope. That being said, use a copy rather than your original, for such an unsafe experiment.
TheWilloughbian
Convert it to OBJ and use Outfit Studio for Oldrim to reapply to bone wieghts and export it as an Oldrim compatible NIF. You'll have to redo all the texture paths too.
GowiHasti
Will Outfit Studio work if its not an outfit, but something like a weapon or say misc item?
TheWilloughbian
Sort of. The process is a little different for statics. For statics I'd use blender to go from OBJ to Nif. You should be able to do weapons with OS though.
GowiHasti
OK, thanks. Can anyone tell me if there is a plugin for blender 2.49b to import/export Skyrim (OldRim)'s Nif?
