Exodus1161 Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 Ive edited some armor to try and resemble Arthas's Armor from warcraft 3, when i try to export it as a .NIF i get the error "You must specify at least one bone node" im fairly new to 3Ds max and have no idea what I'm meant to do to fix this sorry of this is a really stupid question Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Onigamibr Posted July 24, 2012 Share Posted July 24, 2012 Ok i had the same problem too and managed to fix the problem turning it into an editable mesh before exporting and it worked. :)Select the object, right click, Convert to, Convert to editable mesh, try export again. dovapix Posted March 30, 2017 Share Posted March 30, 2017 This is the real reason and fix for this Nifskope error, you have one mesh missing skin on it. I was exporting a tree and my trunk was missing the skin modifier on it and once i skin the trunk i could export perfectly. Hope this help others with these pesky export errors.
