SirGalahad
 I must have accidentally shot a brahma at one of my settlements. I hoped another would come along, but, no, nothing has replaced it. Anything I can do?
WastelandAssassin
if it is still there , just open the console and use the resurrect command on itif it's gone , you can use the id and place one there via a console command (player.placeatme , or a similar command , don't remember them)I'm not sure if there is anything to do beyond console command , unless you can build a cage and capture one (if the vanilla cages don't allow this , it must be a part of a mod)
Moksha8088
When these cattle have died from raiders on my settlements, the big udder in the sky eventually replaces them. Things get broken and things get fixed.

TheSpaceShuttleChallenger
If you wait long enough, another Brahmin will show up.If you don't want to wait, there's usually a Brahmin vendor hanging around to the northwest of Tenpines Bluff, she'll sell you one for a reasonable price. Alternatively, with Wasteland Workshop you can build a cage to catch a Brahmin.

I hope you're not making this up, because County Crossing remains without a brahma; another never simply "came along" to replace it. I had a brahma die at Hangman's Alley during a super mutant attack, and this time I know I didn't accidentally shoot it. It was already dead when I found it. I came back to this thread and used the aforementioned resurrect command in the console. I missed the first time and resurrected a super mutant. We were both equally confused before his second death. Anyway, the resurrect command worked great in the second instance.

Quick tip: when using the console to resurrect/ delete etc. an object, it's not a bad idea to first use the "disable" command to make sure you're targeting the right object. Especially in places that have lots of fog/ lighting that make it hard to target stuff (e.g. murkwater area). Then use "enable" and either follow up with the command you intended (i.e. if the thing you wanted disappeared - unless you want to "mark for delete", then there's no reason to enable first) or bail and try again (if something other than what you wanted disappeared). SirGalahad
Did you know you can disable the green build border around a settlement? You can! I wanted to add that resurrect actually left me with a zombie cow. It would not move but to turn its head my way if I got in front of it. I figured the AI routines were wacked. I used disable and enable to restart the brahma's AI. After which, it resumed normal movement, twitching, and general cow behavior.
