Discarded objects randomly appear when walking around

Hello guys, so I have this problem, when I scrap or disable (even with markfordelete) something, it randomly appears as texture. I can't see through it. But this one is different, I can't even MOVE through this one. How can i get rid of it? It's unclickable and actually non-existing, it just renders out of nowhere and when I move my camera (by mouse) or walk a little bit, it randomly disappears. Keeps popping in and out. I attach two images for comparsion. Please help.

I tried to google but I think I can't describe it good enough

It's called ghosting. Happens usually with items that have been scrapped that normally can't be scrapped and they occasionally are visible again in a murky way when opening the workshop.

You could try the No More Disappearing Act mod that was originally made to get rid of LOD-flicker which is scrapped items flickering in and out of view thanks to pre-culling when the game tries to render objects that are no longer present in the game and you can temporarily look through all the different layers.

I still have this so-called ghosting, though. It's annoying but it goes away when moving a bit. I don't know if there's any fix for ghosting, either.

This one is useful too, but probably won't fix my problem. Some of the discarded items reapearred again and when I try to click them, it says "selected non-ref AV value" or something like that. I guess I have to give up on these settlements.

The “selected non-ref AV” indicates you’re selecting something that is part of a precombined mesh. Those objects are by design not meant to be interacted with as they are a component of the game’s optimization system.

Based on your description and your screenshots (looks like Starlight Drive-In) I’m thinking that you had a mod (maybe a scrapping mod) or .ini edit (the dreaded bUseCombinedObjects=0 perhaps) that disabled precombined meshes in the cell which allowed you to scrap parts of the diner/projector building that you otherwise wouldn't be able to. At some point after that, you either disabled the mod or removed the .ini edit which is why the previously scrapped items have reappeared. That’s a function of the game the engine and a side effect of messing around with the optimization system of the cell by way of your scrapping.

If you’re using Scrap Everything make sure it’s at the bottom of your load order. If it’s not, this is the exact sort of thing that can happen.

Those sections of the Starlight building are definitely parts of a precombined mesh in the vanilla game, which is really the only explanation as to why they would reappear. Something is seriously broken with the precombines and previs in that cell as a result of something your load order of an .ini edit you may have made. I would suggest going back to an an earlier save before you scrapped those items see if you are able to scrap them. If you can’t, that would confirm that some change in your load order or an .ini edit has been made since that save was made that caused things to reappear.
